Invulnerability vs AoPM & Armadillo Secondaries

Hey folks, quick question... the removal of the hideous aura from AoPM has caused me to reconsider my current build. Currently, my stats look like this:

bcbuild-1_zpsa664a116.png

So I hopped over to the PTS, switched from R3 Invulnerability to R3 AoPM, but with the same gear... it changes to:

bcbuild-2_zps956f5503.png

Finally, with Armadillo secondaries (for the 25% physical resist), they go to:

bcbuild-3_zpsb083c2b7.png

Now assume that I know next to nothing about the diminishing returns of stats., my question is... is it worth it to switch my build to AoPM for the boosted stats but lose the flat damage reduction and 'Tank' role perks, and if so, is it then worth the drop for the Physical resist?

First off, and this is gonna seem pretty weird, but tank is a really weak role at the moment over hybrid.

That being said, the amount your super stats give hits Diminishing Returns around when it reads 30% damage increase for your secondaries in hybrid (I believe it's 60 for primary, but not sure).

Beyond that, take a look at this and play around a little with the numbers to get a rough estimate. I've not applied roles to it yet, so you can test invuln/AoPM in hybrid.

The tldr is that the flat damage reduction gives a little more mitigation then it seems at first glance, nevermind the flat % Invuln gives naturally. AoPM is going to be optimal if you want to do (significantly) more DPS both because you're going into hybrid and the bevy of stats will help you out in the long run.

That being said, you may see a bigger drop in mitigation then seems apparent. Plug in the numbers to the spreadsheet to gauge it better, since it's hard doing it at a glance.
