Caliga presents: Thundrax, "The New 52" Version!

Ran into Thundrax, with a new look! It made me think, if Thundrax was in DC comics, this is what "The New 52" version of him would look like!

....NO MULLET!!!

    The story arc will reveal that its not actually Thundrax, but a Roin'esh doing heroic acts in his place and eventually taking over Millennium City not in the open but in secret. Good thing his ally Justiciar has dealt with them before with the help of a certain group of other heroes. ;)

    That's how these epic comics turn out anyways.

    Fortunately the Roin'esh kept the original Thundrax in suspended animation in case they needed to tap his memories again; during the final battle with the Roin'esh forces, as the fake Thundrax is holding the heroes at bay, the shockwaves from the battle will disrupt the suspension, and the real Thundrax will emerge from the rubble to take his alien double down.

    Along with all the other heroes who were also captured that he broke free to back him up.

    It was time for a change.

    If CO gets any new medium-long hair styles I like, I might go back.

    But, this is really old news to those of us who role-play with and interact with him on a regular basis.

    I admit I did think something nefarious had to be up, initially. But forum thread in Champs Discussion section worthy? "New 52"?
