Problem With Pistols!

I'm putting this here, because since they were introduced, this has not been fixed.
The muzzle flash from the Anime pistols (revolver and gunblade) exits the muzzle at an angle to the side. Can this please be addressed or fixed? Working my butt off to get the Globals for gunblades only to see this is a huge punch in the gut.
ALSO:
The smallest Contemporary SMG should be a pistol (The one that looks like an 'Uzi', but more like a Mac-10/MP7 hybrid). It's way too small for SMG animations anyway (The hand grips empty air in front of the barrel), and it looks like the icon for 2-gun mojo.
Can we try it out, at least on PTS? Seems like it'd be easy.

We definitely need more munitions unlocks. A smaller SMG as a pistol unlock would be cool, and I really want a 1911 unlock.
