Reviewing range PA tank

I am playing a bit on the range PA tank concept. I am planning to use reconstruction circuits with minigun, it is supposed to substitute BCR.

I have abandoned looking for dodge or crit, but focusing on def, heal and offense. Is it too risky?

I'm planning on wearing necrull elixir, eruption, pheromones.

    So far, so good. I mean, better have a stable offense and defense than gambling for a one-hit KO or a complete damage avoidance.

    I still have dodge/avoidance in gear, but I am thinking if switching to increase defense would be too much.

    Hmm.

    You know that Lightning arc locks you out of your PA toggles, and Reconstruction Circuits, right?

    And you don't have any hand slot powers other than Power Bolts.

    Thanks for the tip,

    It is something to consider. I still need a crippling challenge power. In the hand slot, there are power guantlet and tactical missile, both of them tap/charge. I am fan of mantains but I guess I could deal with one of those. Which do you think is a good alternative to lighting arc?

    They're both solid powers, mine used Tactical Missles though, because the animation on Power Gauntlet made my shoulder pads look funky. As long as you don't have any animation conflicts then you can pick either one and charge spam it.

    For gear based, I was thinking of getting

    Primary
    legion: offense health, defense agility or health, utility efficiency

    Secondary: armadillo ones from the Qstore

    My main doubt if I should try stacking some dodge/avoidance from gear or just abandoned those stats in favor of defense/health

    For offense mpact prism or sentinel's broch

    For defense impact prism or growth amulet

    for utility impact prism or gamblers luck.

    I have tested a bit at the PH, survival is awesome but I got to test it on a lair. Damage is still low so I think I am going to go for using 3slot(minigun+micromunitions+power guantlet) for damage since energy once is top seems to be manageable. I also dropped ego surge since this build is not for crits, I got immolation instead.

    CS would work better when switched from Fire All Weapons to Micro Munitions.
