Dual Gender, Possible?

So, slow day at work and I've had a idea for a new toon. A two bodies, one hero sorta thing. ( think Billy Batson/Capt Marvel, or Prime, or Rick Jones and the other Capt Marvel)

Since I can't access the game from here, and I can't recall, is it possible to have a costume that would represent the opposite sex? A male toon with a female form or vice versa?

I'm pretty sure this can't be done, but I'd like some confirmation before I get too excited about the concept :P

    Saddly there is no choice/option for this, it would be great, but quite a mess to add to the codes.

    It would be a fun option, not something I think I'd use a lot but for the character I'm thinking about it would be perfect!

    This is possible a white lie from the devs, I bet the ESRB is not letting them do it. They did not let use strapless in CO untill DCUO launched with Wonder Woman's classic outfit.

    Yeah. Nearly all the costume parts have female-specific and male-specific designs, and not all parts have equivalents on the other body. Then there's the code issues with NPC reactions and gender pronouns and so on.

    I'm waiting for the day that the devs will prove me wrong and give us dark colors tinting, log out to character option, gender switching tokens, THE FOUNDRY TOO! and so many other "we can't do it because of tech reasons".

    Oh boy, trust me, I WANT to be wrong.

    That mechanic would make my life so much easier for my Doppelganger and my Shapeshifter characters!

    Couldn't you take the female form and just make it androgynous? Bluhman's done this:

    I'm sure you could get a lot more masculine than that...broaden the shoulders even more, up the body mass, etc.

    Not only Brou shows that it is possible, but also in one instance it already is in the game.

    Become Resistance Destroid has only male version, unlike any other become. When used with female toon it changes character "gender" to male skeleton. Even more. If you have device like this "become purple gang member" and use it with Become Destroid active...

    ...your female toon becomes male purple gang member. It's gender was already changed and now quest-related become works like on male toon.


    This is why I can't even pretend any respect to CO divison of Cryptic. They are deceiving and lying to players, taking their playerbase for gullible idiots.

    They said displaying the rider on a grav bike wasnt possible as well....then went ahead and did it.

    It seems like these things arent so much a "cant be done" issue as it is a "our code is such a scrapped together cluster F we dont have the time" issue.

    Sure I could do this, and might well give it a whirl. I was just hoping that I could make two very distinct personas, body types for this character.

    I'm sure with enough work in the tailor I can make it work, but was hoping for an easy out :P

    This is what I've done for a feminine looking, even wants to be a girl, superhero concept of mine. Also have a SG member who uses this for a male character to get a younger, more Spider-Man build feel to a male character, as the male faces just didn't work for them.

    I'll likely do the same with one character I have, because he's been sitting there as I still continue over a year later, working on those sliders to get the right feel and failing. :/

    I asked about this when I first got here, after CoX's closing. I want this so bad.

    It did give me hope for something like this, when they randomly came out with wing and tail sliders, so fingers crossed!
