Really, how long is it? How long does it take to explore all the areas, do all the missions, get all the points and the enemy intel?

It would be interesting to see how long it takes someone to do every mission in the game. I would do it, but I haven't even done all the missions, so I would be artificially extending the time with looking around for the ones I had missed. Also there's that one in Vibora Bay post-apocalypse where you have to rescue Juryrig that always bugs out on me...

I've been playing this since 2009 too and am sure I haven't done everything in the game. :biggrin:Mostly in Vibora Bay I guess because I really dislike lair missions, it's so boring to me. Same reason I don't do those civilian missions. Oh you saw robots going to the warehouse? GET THE POLICE or SUMTHING GEEZ.

Hm .. a while back before all the +Exp buffs i remember i needed around 50 hours to level to 40, that was with maybe doing half the Quests in VB and only the starting Missions in Lemuria, but most of Canada, Desert, MC and MI.

Ah also only did Solo stuff .. no lairs and so .. with all that i would guess its maybe 80-100 hours.

However i'm old an slow and take often breaks .. all the younger players may manage that in half the time i need

I think Kenpo leveled to 40 in 5 hours or whatever in those days

    Try this progression:

Character #1: Tutorial, West Side, Canadian Crisis, Canada Missions, Queen City, Back to Canada, Monster Island-->you will be level 40 by then; you will also mix in Nemesis missions starting at level 25

Character #2: Skip tutorial, West Side (enough to hit level 10 or so?), Adventure Pack or Comic Series to level, Desert Crisis, Desert Missions, Alerts to level a bit, Monster isle/Lemuria (if you can take the underwater environment)-->this will take you to level 40

Character #3: Skip tutorial, West Side to hit level 10 or 12, Some alerts/events/Socrates things, Millenium City missions from level 16-26 or so, Canada or Desert missions to level up, Adventure Pack or Comic Series to level, Vibora Bay Crisis, Vibora Bay-->taking you up to level 40

When a toon hits level 40, you can do some level 40 lairs (like Andrith), Nemesis Confrontation (NemCon), and Gravitar (though that is available at level 35+).

They really need to move a lot of the endgame missions around. They never get touched once people hit the level cap because the mission rewards aren't worth it and you're not improving either.

Or at least turn them into five player lairs with purple gear as rewards.

I specifically remade an grinded a level 40 toon that was the exact same as my near 40 on my silver account just for the purpose of getting a freeform of him and to play all the content and get all the perks I can in the game with him.

I clocked in around 120 hours from Westside, through Canada and the Desert, Monster Island, Vibora Bay, the adventure packs and comics and got every perk I can manage in around that time. I even talked and read through every dialogue box and interactive I could, save for the stones in Therakiel's Temple because they're broke for the perk.

The only ones not acquired in that time was the 5k perks and PvP. But those perks don't grant you anything satisfying or additive to the game.

There's still the nemesis chain which is hard to rush through since it's semi-random which ones you get. The finale is definitely awesome and worth doing.

There are also the UNITY and UNITY 2 missions at level 40.

By the way, the 5K perks grant costume unlocks, and some also grant action figures.

Though some hate Lemuria, it is a very large zone with many missions, too, and a lair.

Lemuria... the dirty little uncompleted secret sitting in the closet of most people who are asking for a new zone.

avoided by most due to the terrible caves that arent mapped out due to a 2d map in a 3d zone.

There is one Quest to kill a Supervillain somewhere in the Middle of Lemuria where this Hand-Statue is .. however i was never able to find him

And i got a Perk for doing 70 (?) missions in Lemuria very lately when i already had over 30 characters on 40 i think

Normally i do the missions you get in the Submarine and from the Blasphemer .. and thats it.

I like using Lemuria to hit the cap... and the 3Dness of it adds an extra challenge. But yes, that is one of the biggest problems with it and the map markers need to be moved to the cave entrances.

Anyway, I forgot to do this...

Long answer short. I've been playing Champions online since Feb, 14 2010 using numerous characters and alts and I have yet to play anywhere near all the possible content.

There is one mission in particular that could potentially DOUBLE/TRIPLE the time it takes to complete everything in the game, depending on your luck and patience.

This single mission took me about a year and half to finally complete. LoL:tongue:

I found it's best to accomplish this with a team and teleports (to team or team summons, I used both). Three or more is preferred but even two works, just get really familiar with the spawn points. Everyone takes a position where they can easily monitor the spawn areas, then once a doll spawns, get all players who need the doll there before attacking. Rinse repeat. Took me a week (not constant looking, in all actuality was like 5 or 6 hours of "farming") to complete even that way because no matter what there will always be ONE doll (doesn't matter which, it's just one at random) that is rare for everyone to get. Teamwork is a must for it to not take forever to complete.

I just flew loops past all the spawn points while queued for gravitar and alerts. Got it in 2 weeks total but about 5 days of playing, not all focused on that character.

Sean... I got him like 9 times in a row for a bit.
