It does however look at social behaviour in the context of role models and high risk situations. It basically infers the Cost-Reward Matrix of how we decide to help others, based on our own personal beliefs about a situation. I guess you could say it has minor application as a person might be scared to do something because he/she thinks the cost is too high and not worth the potential reward, but in this instance, that would be stretching it.
