Need advice for ranged freeform build

Greetings everyone.
I plan to build a ranged freeform using powers in technology powerset. I want to make him a bit similar to Soldier AT but has more survivalibility. So I am using quary on him.
My question is which set of SS I should go?
1)Ego/DEX/REC
2)DE?EGo/REC

    If I am correct, Quarry boosts your Ego and Intelligence and the boosts for both scale with the latter.
