New Martial Arts Kicks

I would LOVE to be able to actually feel like I was hitting something with a martial arts flying kick, but the set lacks this. There's no type of space-making kick. We have stuns, a weak knockup, and root. There's no type of knockback or knockdown. This set is Strength/Dex based, so there should be kicks that feel a bit more powerful for knock lovers.

**I know there are other sets that need more attention than MA, but I feel a few new MA kicks could really complete the Unarmed set.**

For example:

Crushing Heel: You bring your foot up high and slam it down heel first on the opponent, crushing them to the ground.
^Knockdown.

Soaring Kick: (20ft max Range, would feel and look more like a martial arts movie kick, where the henchies go flying. :biggrin:) You launch off of one foot, flying at your opponent with the other for a devastating kick.
^Knockback.

High Split Kick: You bring your foot up high, slamming it into the opponent's chin in the process and sending them skyward.
^Knockup

These moves would feel more super, for heroes with enhanced martial abilities. (Think Iron Fist, how he would send enemies flying)

OR: If possible, add a Knockback ADV to Thunderbolt Lunge. People could choose between Essence Assault Root ADV or Knockback ADV.

I personally never use Essence, but I know lots who do. Another option would be nice. :cool:

    An melee energy builder that's only kick attacks would also be nice. If you're going to make a kicking specialist, you'll need to cover that as well.

    Finally found Red Snakes dojo.
    We need martial arts emote_loop.

    Gotta say I miss my eagles claw and crane kick. Dragon kick is cool though.

    Holy crap! Just checked those out on CoH vids..That's the type of stuff I'm talking about, pure awesome.

    Especially that Eagle's Claw. Huge kick, with a backflip out. Boss.

    A charged up thrust kick, charged up heel dropping kick (maybe AoE/Cone), lightning fast kicks like the kick version of One Hundred Hands, a sickle Muay Thai kick, a Muay Thai low kick to the knee (snares) are just some ideas I have. A wrestling drop kick would be pretty cool too. And of course an energy builder of nothing but kicks.

    Maybe some Capoeira leg sweeping kicks?

    EDIT: Then put in some uppercutting kicks like a kick up to the jaw sending them up into the air.

    I have the heel drop and "uppercutting kick" on the OP! I love all the others. Especially One Hundred Feet, lol.

    And the drop kick could be brutal.
