People Walking In Front of My Camera

So I've been RPing on this game and I've been having an issue with the camera. As I'm RPing the camera picks up when someone is walking in front of it and of course it distracts me from the scene I am attempting to RP in. This ruins the sense of immersion and it completely derails any kind of emotion the scene has and thus it ruins the game for me. I ask you Perfect World to fix this asap or else you'll lose a loyal star trek fan and customer.

So...You're going to quit the game...Because you can't ignore the extremely minor inconvenience of somebody moving inbetween you and the character.

You know you can just lift the camera above peoples heads right? And the camera stays put, even if somebody is embedded in it correct? The camera doesn't move, the only thing that moves is other people. They can dance around it as much as they want and zoop you just turned it around them using the left mouse button. Bam.

If you're really asking about making other people stop moving...I just...Don't really have an answer that would be appropriate.

    All of my what.

It's an mmo. Massively multiplayer. That means there are other players. And you have to see them. God, I'm curious how you operate in the real world, if seeing other people in a video game is that distracting to you.

You should try Lemuria, there's no people walking front of your camera.
    it distracts me

You need some focusing lessons to keep you from getting distracted by every day, common things that happen.
I think there is a disorder for such a thing. You should get it tested.

    And this is Champions Online.
Btw, how you manage to fly a starcruiser with all those planets and stars and nebulas and stuff blinking there.
Perfect World to fix this asap

Yes, PW should make CO a single player game. Like Neverwinter is. At 1st.

My basis for judging a troll is by how much they annoy me. lol I'm not even nearly annoyed, I'm more amused. If it is a troll, I'd say it's a pretty fail one. Honestly "I see people and that bugs me"? LOL.

That's the issue I have with people like you, you always suggest that people move their camera or do stuff. "People keep shoving me in Club Caprice!" Well move to another shard. You people obviously don't understand I'm having issues and I want this fixed immediately.

We can see you having issues. But fix how?

Actually, this could be easily fixed if Cryptic implemented an eyeball system whereby each character is followed around by an eyeball showing where that player's camera currently is. We could have a separate eyeball costume designer and PW could even sell us stuff for our eyeballs or put it in lockboxes!

You guys obviously don't get it, I'm trying to outline a very important problem this game has and it's been driving me nuts for months. Is this how the game treats me?! Is it intended to make my life hard?!!!! I get a perfect shot and this game wants to screw it up for me. It's absolutely ridiculous. I can't get a worm's eye view while playing without some guy walking in on it?! And what's worse, I tell people they're standing in the way of my perfect camera angle and they WONT MOVE! It's absolutely pathetic. I've tried several times to tell them to move and they won't even budge. So, is this game's camera designed to make my life hard? Or is there a problem that should be fixed?!

You want better immersion and nobody to step between the camera and your toon? Simple, roll the mousewheel forward until you're in 1st person mode. Then it's like more like you are your actual character. You see as they would see.

    This is thought provoking.

Who exactly is walking in front of the camera? If they are Non Player Characters in Caprice, then you are completely out of luck, and you have my sympathy op.

If they are actual players, and are in essence photobombing you, you do have some options.

    1.Retaliation-

Arm yourself with countermeasures. If they are in Caprice, it is likely that they are roleplaying as well. Get scare devices, snowballs, party bombs, and assorted other devices. Time your attacks like so:

If the player is a hero, wait until he states that (paraphrasing) "the situation he finds himself in seems very grim and will likely cause his demise" and then STRIKE! When he starts dancing, it will break his rp immersion. Continue this until he moves out of frame.

If the player is a villian, wait until Capt. WorldBringerDowner states that (paraphrasing) "the world will be singed and reduced to ashes" and then, as with the hero above, STRIKE! Show him and his rp buddies that dancing and glitter do NOT mesh with world ending roleplay. Like the hero, he should move out of frame.

Continue using this method as a workaround until Cryptic/PWE staff return from the Labor Day weekend. They should be able to respond when they get back, but until they do, resolution seems unlikely. DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE!

    2.Relocation-

Get friends, go to your hideout, and roleplay there. Of the 2 options, I think #1 is the boldest and most likely to get your problem resolved, but that's just me.

Now if you are in areas with non player characters that can be attacked, again you have some options. I'd suggest politely asking them to move out of frame. Be polite, but firm. If they are an obstinate or ornery sort, and refuse to move out of frame, try some colorful language. That might get them to move. If they still refuse to move, then you will have no choice but to mete out some street justice. As this is not legal, I leave it to you to figure out ways to "remove" them from your point of view, leaving you free to once again roleplay in peace.

I hope that customer service representatives can help you, we don't want to lose another player. At any rate, I wish you the best of luck.

    Live long, and prosper.
