Fan with a plan

Before I go through the ritual of reporting a bug.
Fan with a plan - got the email picked up the visitor pass clicked on it, clicked accept on the mission briefing and.....
"You may not have more than one of a unique item" blah blah blah I can't get this mission.
I have gone up to the assistant outside the studio and get the same text. I haven't got more than one visitor pass.
Can anybody think of something I might try?

Double check the item isn't in your bank?

No dice - no duplicates in either my main bank or my lair shared account bank.
Should add it says "Inventory Full" before it says the rest.

Ditch the mail piece.

It actually prevents you from doing the quest.

All you need do is talk to the assistant outside the studio.

She lets you in.

Then talk to the secretary.

She let's you behind the locked door inside.

Thanks for posting the problem and solution.

I just got this mission and recalled seeing a thread about this mission. Dropping the invitation w/ an exclamation point and picking up the mission from her assistant outside the TV station was the solution.
