Here's my current plan. Powers are all pretty much set except for the block. Basic Weather Control with Enhanced Physiology (AoPM fit that build I thought...could use a 0 point advantage to get rid of the aura tho).

Charge up Gust > Lightning Arc those single targets! :D

And I love the animation of Hurricane, so Hurricane for AOE. I thought of such things as Thunderstorm, but to my understanding it's an AOE with better ST DPS than Lightning Arc, so if I went that route, I'd likely never use LA or Hurricane.

Was thinking of replacing DEX with EGO when I hit 40 for more damage, as Heroic Gear with a LG I believe will give enough +CRIT with the Vigilante Secondary Piece.

Not really planning to go for Legion Gear like I did with my main (finally got all three pieces :D) but if I happen to get it, all the better!

Lightning Arc receives a damage bonus when hitting an enemy affected by Negative Ions. If you can keep up Negative Ions and manage full maintains, Lightning Arc will out-DPS Lightning Storm against a single target. Thunderstrike and Ball Lightning w/ Triplicity are both reliable ways to maintain Negative Ions.

Two applications of The Best Defense would put you into substantial diminishing returns for Offense's damage bonus, which itself is subject to diminishing returns with other additive damage bonuses. I think you'd get more out of your spec trees by swapping one of them for Vindicator.

Right now, your only self-heal is Resurgence. I would try to squeeze in another self-heal with a lower cooldown for better sustained survivability.

Since AoPM is already giving you a nice chunk of EGO, adding it as a superstat at 40 is going to push against diminishing returns. If you feel like your DEX stat is also too far into diminishing returns, you could consider swapping one of the crit rate boosts in your Primary Offense for a crit severity bonus or a healing bonus.

If you plan to keep Electric Sheath in the build, its advantage is worth considering.

Also, congrats on gearing up your main. That looked like an effective build.

Hmmm...somethings to consider for me :)

Does Hurricane's chance to apply Negative Ions happen with every tick of damage or just the first tick of the maintain?

I was wondering on the two spec trees for Best Defense. I really just went that route because I always seem to pick up Vindicator.

thought about the tank spec for the AD recharge reduction, but the rest of the tree didn't seem to suit me.

    Every tick.

I know how you feel. The Protector tree was an interesting thought; Protector Mastery is quite nice with 2 Active Defenses in the build.

The Sentry tree doesn't do much for damage, but it can net you a nice chunk of resistance on a crit-heavy build. Or with Gust in the build, you could pull some shenanigans with the Avenger tree. But still, it's tough to beat Guardicator/Wardicator from a min/max perspective.
