And here is the real thing, not an armored mock up.

Our costume creator is fantastic, but this?

Fun idea! Funny thing, I kinda went all Big Boss for a second and wiki'd mantis shrimp only to see if they're edible...

If you read the entire Oatmeal article, then I suspect that it is the Mantis Shrimp that likely believes you are the edible one.

btw - I am pretty sure the MS nemesis is the same as all other Crustacean i.e. a pot of boiling water.

So I wanted to see what would happen if I tried to aim more at the actual shrimp rather then the drawing. Still pretty horrid. Maybe with a lot more work but... yeah... :)

    Awesome go, serpinecoh!

    First rate!

    Love it!

The more I look at it the more details I see.

This Mantis Shrimp is awesome, more than the Honey Badger. It's a lot like the Pistol Shrimp, who instead of using the Mantis Shrimp's Forklift Kick attack, does Sonic Booms like Guile with one claw instead.

Serpine, again, you're really good with colour (plus this is an insanely good design). I'm starting to wonder if you have more types of cones than the normal human, able to perceive a wider spectrum of colours than us proles do.

You did so well, here is a new challenge.

This one should be easy. I'm going to have to keep my eyes peeled for another unique one.

Decided to give this one a shot...I actually really like the simplicity of the design. Might end up leveling him :)

    Thanks. Very cool looking.

Are you good are creating lots of costumes?

If so, we could use another Costume Creator over at the - A Costume a Day 2014 - thread.

Even if you can't see yourself making a bunch of costumes for lots of people to use or learn from, if you don't mind contributing at least this one, just post that cap and the CO game file in you screenshots folder.

If you don't know what I'm talking about the file should be found on your system at -

    Users\Public\Games\Cryptic Studios\Champions Online\Live\Screenshots

It depends on your system, but the above should help.

Again, thanks for your post. I promise to scoff at anyone who mentions zombies or the like after this post.

It is Halloween: What better time for dead threads to rise. :)

Regarding the post though, that is a wonderful looking gargoyle. Whenever I've tried my hand at such a thing it ended up looking either to busy or to Disney.
