Unable to Authenticate

I cannot launch Champions Online

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate

I am wondering if this has to do the account linking from Cryptic to Perfect World.

The game worked fine this morning.

When I logged into the Perfect World website my name displayed was different from the launcher window. Both share the same username and password.

    I still cannot log into the game, but I can log onto the forums.

    My Cryptic name is gone, but now I see my Perfect World name.

    I went to check out the Cryptic Store and ALL my in game currency is gone.

    Please help!

    I cannot log into Star Trek Online as well.

    I flushed my DNS.

    I reset my router.

    I restarted my PC.

    I reinstalled CO.

    None of these worked.

    Yeah, it's an issue on their (or Verizon's) end. We haven't been able to figure it out.

    I'm having the exact same issue and have been since yesterday when I arrived for a visit at my parent's house. They have Verizon FIOS.

    Huh. My issue from http://co-forum.perfectworld.com/showpost.php?p=3460131&postcount=5 also overlaps this.

    I no longer get the "unable to authenticate" error message.

    I got my in game currency back. WOOT!

    Now I get the unable to patch to server message.

    I cannot play LIVE or Public Test Server.

    Exact same issues; varies between unable to authenticate and unable to reach patch server. Not a verizon customer, so this is not a Verizon issue; has to be something on Cryptic/PWE's end.

    this is one of the moments where having around the clock service would be really helpful. But I forgot who we are dealing with...
