1) Leave the content IN the game! You know those events they spend months developing, drop for a little while, then take away? Leave them in the game! Eventually all of them will add up to a lot of new content that people can enjoy any time they want.
2) Add the foundry! Yes, its been said before, but I'm saying it again. Both of Cryptic's other games have it, so just add it to Champs already and let people have fun making their own missions and playing other people's.
3) Keep fixing bugs! Of course no game will ever be bug free, but just keep plugging away and taking it one day at a time. As long as progress is being made thats all that matters.
So there you have it. All of my problems with this game could be solved in those 3 steps.
"Add the foundry" isn't really a simple step, it's like 2 years' worth of work. We might see it eventually, but it's going to take them a long, long time.

I never said it was simple, but I think it is one of the most significant things they could do at this point to prolong the life of this game.
How would it take 2 years? Its just a dumbed down version of the dev tools, not to mention that sto had it well before its two years, and considering how STO and NW already have it, it would really just take a UI change to the preexisting setup, no?

Foundry development didn't start until after CO launched, during the development of STO. That means none of CO's environmental assets are properly indexed for the player Foundry tool chain, only the old internal dev kit for our relatively ancient version of Cryptic Engine. To implement Foundry in CO, Cryptic has to properly index and tag everything in the game. I'm picturing the file system equivalent of an episode of Hoarders. I'm not sure about two years, but it's still a lot of tedious effort. Given the apathy Cryptic management has for the CO community, I doubt they think its worth it.
Choose your enemies carefully, because they will define you / Make them interesting, because in some ways they will mind you
They're not there in the beginning, but when your story ends / Gonna last with you longer than your friends
I adore the notion of CO Foundry. But... yeah, it'd be a mammoth undertaking from a studio that manifestly has no interest in putting much work into the game.
I mean, Cryptic can't even keep track and maintain access to legacy gear as it is. All signs suggest that their internal documentation is a mess, to whatever extent it exists at all.
Campaign: The Fenwick Cycle NWS-DKR9GB7KH
Wicks and Things: NW-DI4FMZRR4 : The Fenwick merchant family has lost a caravan! Can you help?
Beggar's Hollow: NW-DR6YG4J2L : Someone, or something, has stolen away many of the Fenwicks' children! Can you find out what happened to them?
Into the Fen Wood: NW-DL89DRG7B : Enter the heart of the forest. Can you discover the secret of the Fen Wood?

Yeah, in the minor amount of actual communication we got from the Devs, they said no foundry. So yay.
Smoo, why are you quoting When Harry Met Sally? Obviously Cryptic North will have to be Sleepless in Seattle to deliver all this in a timely manner.

How about just one... let's focus on one that should be not *so* tough:
MAKE ALL CONTENT REPEATABLE.
Seriously, don't take it away after we've done it. Put it on a cooldown timer to prevent farming and let us do it again. This would solve issues of having nothing to do, it would give roleplayers missions to work off of, and it would curb issues regarding gaps in content (not like anyone levels through actual content anymore anyway.)

This seems more like a necessary. More than any other suggestion. It just makes so much sense.
