You think maybe... the last 6 months... was these guys getting familiar with the game?

You need a cold drink, man- I agree with you, but you just kinda... I dunno. This was out of the blue. You scared me a little.

    You all right?

    I love you, bro.

Nah i had to get this out, im a little disappointed they wont stop ignoring everyone.

They fully deserve my steam, time and time again their choice, is a half-**** one. I have the right to vent just like Xbox One deserves its full scrutiny.

Oh yes, State of The Game In an Alternate Dimension, i think deserves a part 2!

I hear you, but explain exactly what you're talking about so it doesn't seem like a random outburst.

Reminds me of this crazy homeless guy, used to call him Larry. We just decided that was his name. AND HE ANSWERED TO IT. So he was kinda cool, but he'd be all alone by himself and just GO OFF about something. Usually, George Bush and Medicare.

So, explain what you mean. PLZ.

EDIT: You are now Homelessresearcher. GO.

Im saying most of the biggest problems in the game, that i doubt many other people can find, are known to the most experienced players.

THE MOST EXPERIENCED people on this game, 1 of THEM should be hired to make balance changes. Im not saying me, but i would. Theres many people i know here, quite a few of you too on this forum, who know exactly what to do with most of the mechanics in this game.

Doesnt it boil your blood that the people who get the "balancing" job are people theyre throwing quite literally out into the dark who DONT know what we know?

    Thats why im angry.

    Surprise twist ending:
Cryptic [North] won't bother with gameplay balance and will only pump out more temporary events and lockboxes in their spare time while they work on STO and NWO.

GentlemanCrush is caught red-handed trying to balance CO and will be locked in a dungeon, forced to work on NWO until the end of time. Never allowed to even think about superheroes again.

This story is not happy end.

I blacked it out because of spoilers and because this story is 2spooky.
AND HOPEFULLY IT NEVER BECOMES TRUE.

    Well, hear me out...

An 'expert' sees one solution or method... A 'novice' sees many.

I mean, maybe a little 'Zen' (no pun intended), but perhaps a fresh tackle on this is a good thing? I'm not saying one way or the other. I'm waitin' this out.

I think the big issue here is that what will be Cryptic North's interest in the game? What do they think about Champions? Its hard to trust people who appear out of nowhere to make the game better.

    Better for who?

We'd like to get to know these people. Maybe they will be talkative. Maybe they will do dev vlogs.

What we want is a team who is excited for the game for what it is and cares for the IP and the details that make the game what it is. Not just people who want to solely turn a profit. If they can't turn a profit and care for the game and its community, some of us want to know so we can leave the game on a high note.

We really need to develop a good dialogue with Cryptic North. We had that with Paragon Studios on CoH and it did wonders for, well, just absolutely everything. Looking at where these people are coming from, I'm pretty optimistic that they are the kind of people that we'll WANT to talk to about the game and that will want to know what we think.

And, honestly, I'd say we don't give them a choice. After all of the arrogant silence, we should insist on a vocal dev team and a lively dialogue. They'll probably give it, and, if they don't, let's make that priority #1 and keep asking till they do. But, like I said, from what TT said about his regular calls with them and looking at where they're coming from, I think we'll get a good relationship if we actively pursue it.

That would require people to stop acting like they're not gonna do anything before we even get a chance to see them in action. This community is nothing if not painfully pessimistic.
In game, I am @EvilTaco. Happily killing purple gang members since May 2008.

Most companies go out of their way to avoid hiring clearly unbalanced people to perform any kind of "balancing" of their systems.

Posts such as this one make Cryptic's decision-making process much easier. I for one thank you for showing your true self often enough to remind everyone why your involvement in any alterations to this game's mechanics should be kept to a minimum.

As far as I'm concerned, Cryptic North has been looking at the code and the game for since December or even earlier. They may have applied direct changes to the game or they are untangling the code. We can't be certain until they become publicly active and they actually show what we can do.

My conclusion; anything with activity from them shows they are more interested in Champions than Jack has been in the past year. But I give the guy credit for actually getting a team to work on this game. It shows he doesn't care about working on the game but cares enough to see that its a game that deserves to have a team to focus on it. He isn't worthy of Champions anymore and he knows it.
