Monthly Events

I'm just returning to the game after a bit of a hiatus. Do they still do the monthly cycle events, such as Blood Moon? I remember there used to be a calendar at the CO website that doesn't seem to exist any longer.

    Damn, I've forgotten Blood Moon! It's been so long since I've punched a taco...

    Instead I get to fly through hoops. Wee.

    Sadly, yes...Well, yes to that question.

    Haven't seen an event that isn't cycled through in two weeks pop out within the past few months.

    The last Blood Moon was during Halloween, if memory serves me right.

    Now we have new events on an irregular schedule, with lots of time without new stuff in between.

    Thanks for the push citizenstranger, it's sad how returning players come back to a poorer quality game.

    I already knew most resources were going to STO and NWN. Heck, when they hired on a couple of the story writers from Paragon after CoH got notice, they were put on STO, not Champions.

    So, I knew what I was coming back to. :wink:

    we now have a rotation of events, Night hawk is on its way back(read that in a post somewhere), the other two were harbinger and The Until vaults one.

    They come with 2 short missions then a boss fight, Associated lockboxes start spamming on the first day.

    I know Nighthawk was at least mentioned as returning in the March 2013 Ask Cryptic.

    There is always something going on.
    "monthly"
    "holiday"
    "its not totally broken so we'll try to have a go at it"

    Pushing a schedule like "every third thursday when the blue fruit ripens in the south" is not worthwhile.

    They already have events, hit the J key, look at that, its Q hour!
    What's going on?
    Nemesis guys are dropping Q.

    Other stuff every couple hours.
