It's finally happened, I'm making the decision.

Well, actually no, not so much a decision, as a coercion. the main reason I'm leaving is that it became clear that Cryptic didn't want me playing their game, because whenever I try and start it up, this happens:

Open up launcher, white window with nothing. I even tried re-patching the launcher, at which point it just caused a broken Internet Explorer window to show up after 3 minutes.

So even if I wanted to log in, I cannot. Not that it's a huge problem, since there really isn't much to do anyway.
How to block a user with μblock:

    Same here.

    I'm wondering that now NW is in "Open Beta" (effectively live), they decided not to waste server resources to CO.

    Just sayin'...

    I got the same issue today. Launcher would not start.

    Perhaps something broke?....Again?

    Nice conspiracy theory. But I'm logged into the game right now, and judging from Zone chat, so are a lot of other people.

    Apparently there's been hell with the launchers today with everyone trying to patch and stuff. Even CO is getting affected.

    I think I found a fix, Launch Internet Explorer, hit <ALT> + <T>, select Compatibility View Settings and add perfectworld.com, close IE and then try to relaunch the game. It worked for me

    You're quite right. CO is not shut down. Apparently all Cryptic titles are having problems with login.

    On NWO forums there are over 50 pages of people complaining of login issues along with Dev responses letting them know what's going on.

    STO also seems to be getting communications from the devs about the situation.

    Sadly CO is the red-headed stepchild again concerning any dev attention.
