Another CoX refugee, looking to ENJOY this game: A Proposal

Howdy!
Long time CoX player, from both sides of the line, all the way up to close of business. i was there when they introduced the engine overhauls, i was there when the villans came, i was there flr going rogue, and i was there all the way up to the protests in front of city hall. Im here now to continue enjoying superhero adventures the way i always have! So here's my proposal:
I want to enjoy my characters development as I play. Im here for the first time and all the missions and arcs and stories are new to me, and i would love to hook up with people for whom it is also new and enjoy leveling my character alongside my compatriots. It seems like everybody i meet in Millenium city is just interested in special instances and solo grinding. or randomly challenging people to duels. While i'm sure all that is fun in its own way, there are other facets to the game, and i want to enjoy them all.
So: ive set my missions to Elite, and im putting my foot down here and now. I will not run missions without at least one partner of a similar level to me, and when we do so we wil take our time to enjoy the little moments of heroism! Who's with me?
my current character so far is level 12, but in order to implement this id even be willing to create a whole new hero, just for the purpose of hooking up with a regularly-playing superteam! Rpers welcome as well. Thanks for reading!

Sounds good. There are people that team. In ZOne chat within 15 minutes of being there at any given moment between the Looking to buy/sell stuff, there is a team forming usually for missions many times for Nemcom. But people do team. It's not rampant because teaming gives not much xp edge over soloing like in COX soloing was ok but the fast track was teaming. Thus with no fast track most people just dont team. There are some that like the company and could care less whether or not that teaming zips you from level 1-50 or for this game 6-40 in half the time soloing takes.
And also it dont help when people say "oh there is no teaming" and instead of forming a team like you pla nto do just continue to gripe there is no teaming when there is nothing at all in CO that stops a person from saying "hey, I'm forming a team, who wants to join?" And other people that like to team will take opportunity. But it's easier to conclude there is is no teaming in this game instead of actually putting i an extra calorie of work and realizing there is teaming in this game and they also can form their own if they choose but that may be asking too much of those with that mindset. Just like peole used to say in COX when people couldnt find a team, "Make your own. It isnt hard." Same applies here especially to those same ones that used to say that on COX and come over here saying there is no teaming.
thats what im getting at i think. im not really interested in being level 40 as fast as possible, since they arent raising the cap any time soon. im more interested in enjoying the adventures with, as you say, the company.
as for making your own team, im trying, i really am, but ive gone for quite a while without finding ANYbody who was willing. i would love to build up a long friends list of people around my level, and id appreciate it if anybody here looking to play new characters would add me. its important that all of us who are proactive and aren't preoccupied with leveling as fast as possible get to know eachother so that we know who's out there with a common interest.
