Wouldn't it have made more sense to keep the Harbinger event on Live until the Forum Malvanum event was ready to launch, then swap them out?
The evening before the event ended, about 6:307pm-ish central, I was apparently the only one in queue for the event, in other words, no one else wanted to do it at near prime time central time, on the last evening it was to be available.

I fail to see how that's relevant to keeping existing content in the game until new content is ready to replace it.
People were already burned out on it in just three weeks.
Or their graphics cards were burned out on it after three weeks. Either way, keeping one event up until the next is ready to go would at least create a semblance of active development.

Taking it out just gave the people that weren't running it something to complain about.
