So, we have seen people showing the Lemurian Invasion as an example for new content...


Can you tell me WHERE IT IS NOW ?

    It ended 27th.
    The heroes of Millennium City defeated the invading Lemurians.
    Good job, heroes!
    Now we wait what awaits in the coldness of space....

    Everything playable is 'New Content', no matter how long it's available....

    Well, it -is- new content. Permanent? Not in the slightest. ( .__.)

    Seriously, take the vehicles and other goodies out and give us a Questionite/salvage reward mission for it like you did with the useless Sky Command mission, Cryptic.

    Or, better yet, take the Sky Command map and make it into a Wave 1 SG Base.
    Just another average RPer, costume part collector, and tabletop gamer.

    So you're telling me we still haven't defeated the Rhinoesh from Whiteout, the kings of edom from Aftershock, Luther Black from Demon Flame, and all the other villains from all the permanent content?

    Apocalypse is still gonna happen even though we sent Therakial packing?

    Doctor Who was right about those fixed moments in time I guess.

    The Lemurians are just bunch of quitters. They got played by Doctor Destroyer.

    It's right there. Like literally, it's right there in the games data files. The entire invasion is still in the game info... just sitting there. In some way it's probably still running... we're just not in it.

    Well, they were thinking that people who didn't get free freeform slots during the freeform grab bag event weren't bummed enough... so they figured, hey, why not give them a chance to feel like they missed out on getting involved in a core concept of the game for free twice?

    Thing is... Events are like an erection; You can try to keep it going for however long you want, but it's gonna fall flat sooner or later.

    I just had an epiphany. What if the lockboxes are tied to the event and that's the reason why the Lemurian alert had to go?
