Concept, "The Human Bomb" build. Help?

So, I've been recently reading a few old comics my friend has that I didn't. Read about the freedom fighters and one of them just made an impression on me because of his powers and his awesome name.

So now I'm thinking of creating a homage character based on the Human Bomb; probably Unarmed/Fire so close range attacks with huge flashy explosions would be prefered. He probably wouldn't be able to throw fireballs or use any ranged attacks short of cutting off a part of his body throwing it at his opponent, flicking his sweat at them or spitting at his opponent (which now, that I think about it, could actually work).

I'm kind off not sure how I would go about utilizing the fire power set for this, as I have no experience with the elemental powers sets and have mostly made gadget toons.

So, is anyone interested in helping? Builds/Build advice would be appreciated.

    As of telekinetic Eruption, you can just color it red, it will really look like an explosion that way, but if the glow effect bothers you, you can change it for fire breath or flash fire.

    Gotta say, been using this build on PTS with one or two minor changes. And it owns. Majorly. Taken out the Lemurian Vault mish solo which I normally find difficult, and thrashed the Amazing Grace Blood Moon instance.
