Dominus Drake's Progress of Drawn Heros

Alright, I have been getting into drawing, and its acutally pretty fun. SO, in that retrospect I will be posting pictures of heros that you may know or have no idea about. Either way, its a learning experience for me, anda chance to see someone's toon get drawn.:biggrin:

    Here comes another hero. You know and love him. He is well known for help keeping togethe the large list of COstume Contest ingame and the guy who run's Costume Central. Give it up for Flare.

    Another addition to the list of people. He is the leader of Conquer, a king with a powersuit heavy enough to put a hole through a building. He is that guy who is somehow famous but looks cool anyways. Caliga.

    Saw Smoochan's toon the other day, had the idea to try drawing her toon and it came out jsut he way it I wanted it too.:biggrin:

    Decided to do another one of my main, this time depicting more of the friendship between the two characters of Dominus Drake.

    I give you an A for effort.
    There's lots of good websites to learn basic drawing skills and great free software to.

    Google Contrapposto and check out the images available.

    Practice some sketches and tracings in those poses so you can loose that 'standing straight and stiff' habit you have.

    You can probably leave out the junk in the trunks, like Cryptic did.

    Oh and keep a copy of all your drawings without background, text, drop shadows, etc.
    So you can combine them all at some point like some people' signatures or other creations.

    Thanks for the info, and I see what your talking about with the stiffness, I have been using Paint.net, so learning with lines and such is still a work in the process, although I hope to get much better in the future.:biggrin:

    These are really great Dominus! :D pretty top work for something thats done with that program. I'll watch this thread for a while :)
