There is no indication in the description how much this advantage is worth. (not that I would trust those descriptions after a few hard lessons lol)

Does anyone have real world knowledge of whether this pick is worth it?

You can see the value when selecting the advantage while taking damage.

But no, it only kicks in around....40% health I believe and that values are very low. Not worth the points.

Parry with EM gives you 33% for just spending 3 adv on it where Force of will....well..

Let me put it this way...

In order for force of will to do ANYTHING is for you to have 1/3 health...

Now once you go down to below 1/3 hp you will notice that it starts off only at around .34% but it quickly skips to 33% then 77% all the way up to around 160%(you are pretty much are dead when you reach this)

I do not know if force of will is like avoidance and str knock resistance is like defense...but I do know for a fact that even if you are 100% resistant to knocks...1hp isn't going to be much help..

    Not worth it at all..

Alrighty, ran a test with FoW. Wow it's more useless then it was when I tested it 2 years ago.

It looks like it kicks in around 40% health
    And scales from there.
Scaling definitely ramps up the lower your health.
    Until you're dead!

Having piddling amounts of kb res when you're in one shot territory is not going to help, I'd spend the adv points elsewhere.
What your hit points are and what buffs you are running matters not. It scales to the % of your health.

Question still remains, Is it like D&A or is it like defense? The knock equivalent would be Str Vs Knock-Resist-Buffs..

I'll give cryptic credit and go with D&A/Knock-resist-buffs since they would NEVER make something this risk-specific as useful as getting 160 str..........

And then cryptic quickly increased growth amulet's max energy(and the other stuff also might do well with a buff..) and people everywhere quickly took back their sarcasm..
