Petition: Getting the Weekly Alerts that YOU want.

Can we please have the ability to play Weekly Alerts NOT in the current slot, or cycle the slot faster?

Problem: Heres what im talking about, Currently you have to wait a month or maybe even more to play your desired Weekly Alert.
With more Alerts filling the weekly slot and not regular slots, you have to wait longer and longer to see the one you want appear in the weekly spot. Warlord just ended, and thats kinda the only one i want to do personally. You might have your own personal favorite.

Solution idea #1: Make Weekly Alerts currently NOT in play, have a random chance of appearing in the 3 Alert Slots.

The 3 random chance slots can then feature:
Grabs
Smashes
Bursts
+Weekly's

It takes far too long for these things to come about.

Solution idea #2: Simpler on CO's budget of 0. Change 'weekly switchout', to a 'daily switchout'.

Solution idea #3 by sanguineviper: Have a slot for each type of alert that cycles on a regular basis, period.

i.e:
[Random Smash]
[Random Burst]
[Random Grab]
[Random Custom]
[Random Rampage]

And each one just rotates every 20 minutes or whatever...a fixed time.

---

Weekly Alerts are simply becoming too-long a wait.

Rotating the special alerts on a more frequent basis is a good idea.
Also, it would be nice to add another special alert to the rotation.

Right now we have these rotating alerts:

    Hi-Pan
    Harmon Labs
    GRAB
    Red Snake
    Red Winter

    Did I miss one?

If they tied these to locations in the first place than we could have gotten to play them whenever.

I'll take anything when it comes to playing any Custom Alert whenever we want.

I'd love to see them cycle more often, and really, I'd have prefered seeing them tied to physical locations in the game world, so they could be repeated indefinitely without having to wait for a new Custom Alert Cycle.

    so,

I've been saying this since before On Alert hit Live. It should work like this.

To remain on topic, Snake's idea is solid as well so, as is the custom...

P.S. While we're at it how about scaling the rewards better on the various alerts? Example, I should get either higher rank stuff or more stuff for running Pyramid Power than I do for running Radiation Rumble because it takes more time/effort/killing/carrying(in more cases than not). This is especially true when comparing Fighting City Hall with the Museum Alert.

P.S.S. And could someone please, for the love of all that is sacred, fix the friggin Map Server. It actually worked better when On Alert launched than it does now. You used to be able to get into an alert queue as it expired and still be able to run it in a kind of "ok, last call" fashion. Now either the window vanishes before you can click "OK" and it tells you that you failed to reply in time or it lets you in....only to instantly collapse upon arrival and start trying to kick you out.

Ok, I "think" I'm done for now.

/signed for pretty much every idea in this thread so far. Doubt it'll happen, but it'd be a lot cooler if it did.
