Patching Issue

I decided last week to get back into the game, so I reinstalled it and started patching on Friday. Firstly, it patched slowly, more slowly than it should have on my internet connection. Plus, it kept disconnecting from the patch server, I got an "Error 14" message a lot. Well, after a lot of tries and frustration, I finally got it to mostly patch. It's down from over 1GB to 61MB. However, I can't get the 61MB to complete, it's stuck at 50.8MB. It downloads a lot of information, around 20-30MB, more than it should need to get from 50.8MB to 61MB, then it gives me the "Error 14" restarts. This goes on and on and goes nowhere. I can't play the game (obviously) because it can't complete roughly 10MB of patching.

Before anybody mentions it: No, it's not my internet connection, that works fine. In fact, this is the only game or download in general in which I'm having this issue. I play other MMORPGs, including Star Trek Online, which patches just fine. Regular downloads work great, so does everything else internet related. It's just this game doing this. I'm assuming it's an error with the patch server or the game files, the patch, or something.

I searched and found other issues, but nothing else quite like this. I'd hate to stop playing this game because of patching issues, I already had to drop an MMORPG late last year because I couldn't get it to patch (I wasn't the only one having the issue with it.) However, if this isn't fixed soon, I'm going to have to uninstall Champions and move on.

I'm going to give it another shot with a fresh install today or tomorrow. If it doesn't work, I'm out. I already don't like what they did to crafting or the alerts, but I still like running missions in the game. However, if I can't even patch the game, it's time to say bye-bye. The thing that sucks is that this will be the 2nd game in about 3 months I've had to give up due to an inability to patch. It makes me appreciate good old fashioned offline games even more than I did before.
