Need a freeform build to level and have fun

Hello,
I have been back for a few days and decided to leave my main char a 32 gadget pet setup until I am back in the game.

I tried a sorcerer pet summon build and for most situations it was fine the two situations that totally destroyed it was the next to last part of Resistance and next to last part of whiteout.

Both times my pets died so fast or spent way to much time recreating them and dying an awful lot.

So I have a 21 level char and he has one free respec left.

I want a build that can handle leveling efficiently and be fun + adventure packs, I like big guns and explosions, I know it will need some kind of regen.

I like munitions and gadgets but most of the builds I can find are ones you swap into at 40 or 35, I need something I can go from 21 - 40 and enjoy myself.

Nothing is really off the table

Just want to have some fun (PVP not important this is just for blowing up pve baddies and lots of them)

Level 26: Ego Surge (Nimble Mind)
Level 29: Frag Grenade (Rank 2, Incendiary Grenade)
Level 32: Evasive Maneuvers (Sleight of Mind)
    Level 35: Ice Sheath
Level 38: Toxic Nanites (Rank 2, Rank 3)

    Travel Powers:
Level 6: Swinging (Rank 2, Rank 3, Flippin')
    Level 35: Teleportation

    Specializations:
    Ego: Force of Will (2/2)
    Ego: Insight (2/3)
    Ego: Aggression (1/2)
    Ego: Follow Through (3/3)
    Ego: Sixth Sense (2/3)
    Guardian: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Guardian: Ruthless (2/2)
    Guardian: Find the Mark (2/3)
    Guardian: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (3/3)
    Vindicator: Modified Gear (2/2)
    Mastery: Ego Mastery (1/1)

Because of how I build, this is in leveling order so you can get rolling right away.

The idea behind the build is: EGO PSS to take advantage of the Audacity buffs from Quarry, and scale Killer Instinct and Concentration to absurd amounts. Audacity gives you 9% avoidance, and increases your INT and EGO by a percentage of your INT (stacks up to 3 times). At lvl 40 I have infinite energy. I actually took my Energy Builder off of my bar.

With dodge/avoidance gear and Quarry, your defenses will be pretty high. BCR/RR will keep you going, and the Stim Pack advantage on Holdout Shot is another nice heal. You could swap it for Conviction if you want, I took Holdout Shot for theme. Frag Grenade is also a theme power, you can replace it with whatever you want (the Rocket Launcher would be my pick). Since single target is just spamming Two-Gun Mojo to melt faces.... so I took Toxic Nanites to melt faces harder.

I was playing on Elite at lvl 30 with this build. Solo Elite content at 40 is a complete joke with how hard TGM hits now. I average ~2.6k crits with it in my current gear (R5 and 4 mods cuz I'm poor and lazy)

As for stats/talents/gear, I go for EGO > INT > DEX. You want to slot crit into your Offense, Dodge into Defense, and Cooldown Reduction into Utility. Talents are taken to maximize DEX, and Specializations maximize offense while boosting defense. The Best Defense and Aggressive Stance loop together to increase your Offense and Defense scores into diminishing returns territory. While leveling, try and keep your stats from gear even.

    At 40:
Heroic Gloves of Precision - EGO/EGO/Crit
Heroic Breatplate of Agility - EGO/INT or EGO/Dodge
Heroic Helm of Speed - EGO/EGO/Cooldown
    Sec. O. - Decisive (EGO/Crit) or Vigilante's Critical Belt (Q Store, Crit/Primary SS)
    Sec. D. - Diplomatic (EGO/INT)
    Sec. U. - Diplomatic (EGO/INT)

SS bonus and talents are enough for DEX. Should be around 100 or so without gear, or ~12% crit chance. You'll be around 40% crit chance or so total with gear and Sixth Sense. Very good for not taking PSS DEX. You also don't need a lot of INT, ~150-180 or so do will do.

Two-Gun Mojo can be swapped for Assault Rifle, and SMG Burst can be swapped for Gatling Gun if those are more your thing. Take R3 and tap-spam Assault Rifle (higher DPS than running it as a maintain) if you do take it.

I haven't parsed the DPS of this build at 40, but judging by how much I'm the one tanking... I'd say it's pretty high.

By the way if your problem is gear, to level get the Questionite gears that gives u 25% bonus physical damge (Samurai Mask, Ring and Boots).
U can get the set of three secondaries for 33 KQ.
It is really good for leveling since u do not need to ever swap it out since it levels with u. Just use the secondaries, since the primaries are not slottable.

Had enough Q to pickup those items, should I be balancing my three super stats or should one of them be higher than the others.

While leveling, you should be balancing your stats from gear. Your PSS will be higher (and should be) because of the higher bonus it gets for being your PSS. The secondaries of the Q sets are great for leveling. Can even get away with using them at 40 on most builds. The Armadillo (25% physical defense) set can be great on squishy builds.

The gearing I posted about for lvl 40 is actually carefully chosen. A lot of players gear the same way for a Quarry build for the same reasons. DEX gets hit with diminishing returns pretty hard at high amounts. My Electricity character has over 300 DEX and gets 26% crit chance from it, while this toon has barely 100 DEX and gets close to 12% from it. The high amount of EGO scales the crit severity in the EGO specialization (Follow Through) very nicely, as well as Concentration and Killer Instinct to "lol what's an energy builder?" levels. 19% damage per stack of Concentration too.

How does this build do on alerts?

Seeing how I end up practically soloing Smash Alerts sometimes (people leave cuz too many tanks and support, or they're all <lvl 10), I'd say it's very good in Alerts. Only thing the build is weak against is Knocks. With the stupidly high EGO you should almost never be Held. BCR/RR + Stim Pack keep you up very well.

The build has high crit chance and crit severity, coupled with high dodge and avoidance. With the chosen specializations, your defense and offense will be very high as well. I think I'm at 43% damage reduction from defense, and 32% bonus damage from offense. Even without much CON I can tank a lot of bosses.

This one is fun. I find that regeneration make the game more fun, since it is hard without it. I don't remeber any of my builds so I made one up. Have fun :)
