Okay, so I've been looking around and searching and I see a lot of builds. Devour Essence, Vile Cyclone, Epidemic, Invulnerability seem all like great powers to have. I am having some trouble deciding on my Super Stats. I know I want Constitution and I am looking for a form on KB resist in Str, but I want this to be a ranged tank. Also, is presence still a factor of generating aggro?

Your superstats generate threat in the Tank Role regardless of what they are.

Why a ranged tank? Those are mostly useful vs mobs, but in boss fights the boss will just run up to you most of the time anyways.

You can go with CON as a primary SS and get KB resist from its spec tree. You could take Epidemic for mobs and Devour for boss fights.

A lot of options there, but many Devour users take Compassion as a toggle to buff healing and further increase threat. Could also take Form of the Tempest if you plan on using DEX since many heals crit, including those from Devour, they will add to your threat.

Thank you for the advice and suggestions. I am thinking of avoiding a crit build because I have another high dex tank already and want a different feel. I plan to take epidemic and devour, I guess I wanted range because it'd be easier to draw mob aggro and Devour is so good on bosses that it would work well. Con/Pre/Int is where I'm aiming, I think.

Yeah Con/Pre/Int is solid. If you do go that route check out Compassion as a toggle and Circle of Primal Dominion for boss fights.

The Circle is great for threat generation in the Tank role and it provides a lot of added knock resist. Since you're going with Devour (a maintain whose first tick is more expensive energy-wise) look into Defiance instead of Invuln because it sucks to run out of energy before Devour is done with its maintain.

I've been using compassion+bountiful chi resurgence and the combination with DE works great! I know circle is a great tanking power as I've used it on my other tank, so I'll probably get that eventually. The only problem is a lot of alert bosses tend to move back or leap around, especially the ranged ones like Dead Man Walkin' and Devanna Hawke.

I stayed with Invuln because I liked it's survival better than defiance. Ever since I took compassion, as long as I take damage my energy is fine.
