If 5 players gathered together all used Aura of Primal Majesty wouldn't that boost all of their stats by a very high margin? And if that works does that mean if they each superstated INT and got Enlighten the percentage would stack onto of the massive stat boosts from AoPM?
It's been tried and it's not all that much because of diminishing returns on all but a few facets of stats.
The parts that do not suffer from diminishing returns are:
Bonus hitpoints
(from CON)
Max energy limit
(from END)
Melee Knock Strength (from STR, equal to STR's value)
Ranged Knock Strength (from EGO, equal to EGO's value)
Cooldown Reduction
(from INT)
Energy Cost Discount
(from INT)
Stealth Sight
(from INT, how well you can overcome Perception Stealth)
Aggression Stealth
(from DEX, basically how close and for how long until enemy NPC's notice you or attack you)
As a result, stacking multiple AoPM's on a team plateaus after awhile. You won't be hitting or exceeding a natural +50% to critical chance from DEX for example. If you already have "+40% all damage" from a superstat, going up 100 more will only give you +5% more. And then it's going to be a ton more than 100 for the next +2.5%. This is a logarithmic function (google it), and it approaches a limit.
AoPM itself appears to have a +80 limit now. I've gotten as high as +78 before they nerfed AoPM. I'm talking a mathmatical, calculus definition of a limit here, where you can get really close but not break that limit.
So in otherwords it pays to diversify your stats, and your auras.
Two to three AoPMs on the team is plenty, and it'll be quite nice as you'll essentially fill the "pot-holes", the weaknesses, in stats on other teammate's builds. To really making things rock put some offensive and defensive auras in too, such as IDF (Inertial Dampening Field) and AoED (Aura of Ebon Destruction).
AoED in particular is a favorite because you get to break any limits on base damage caps. Lots of pet builds on a team with multiple AoED and a healer (with healing auras) is hilarious!
IDF gives everyone that 4th layer of passive defenses (the other 3 are HP, Defense, and Dodge/Avoidance). Once again, IDF is covering over the "pot-holes" in people defenses, making everybody more tank-like.
Highest Stat I've ever had (solo) would be 910 int. It was my primary SS.
Highest IDF I ever had (solo) would be 142
Now here comes the fun part.....The team bonus for auras scales only on pre(Sorta...there are certain bugged parts of certain auras..)...So that means one must stack pre in order to see any significant changes for their friends...
Alright but time for my grand finale, The highest pre in the current CO iteration that you are allowed to have(solo) and the effects of it on the various rank 3 auras while said character is in the sentinel role are as followed:

I may be wrong (tried to search to verify, failed to find) but I believe auras were changed a while back to only have the strongest aura affect the team if there were multiple of the same type.

It was like this on PTS for a bit. Then it was changed so there's diminishing returns on multiple of the same aura. I've never bothered to calculate by how much, but it is noticeable.
On a side note, the AoED dark lightning procs work the same no matter how many AoEDs are in a group. The +dmg from the aura will suffer DR, but every crit up to twice per six seconds per AoED will proc dark lightning. Which is why, as mentioned earlier, grouped pet toons stacking AoED can get ludicrous dps numbers.
IDF (unless it has been changed) works like this AFAIK:
1 Stack (just one person in a group having it) - full strength.
3 Stacks - as if you had 2 stacks running (so add up all 3 IDF values, subtract by 1/3rd total).
5 Stacks - as if you had 3 stacks running.
That's how it used to work a long time ago (when it got it initial 'nerf' because everyone was using them - 5 people using them in a group would give crazy damage resist, especially if someone had AoRP running). I don't think it has been changed since then.
AoED does it dark lightning bit on a per AoED in the group basis? Wow.

Came here to say this too.
Brick_McDuggins in game.
Does it count to IDF too? or IDF stacks?
