Power order when retraining

Other than meeting the prerequisites of higher tier powers, does it matter? As a CoH player, I'm used ti making sure key powers were taken as early in the build as possible so that I retained them when sidekicking, but here it looks like I keep everything no matter how low I SK.

Note that I'm asking about a level 40, not a character that is still leveling up.

basically take any powers you are certain of first, with any you may want to change in the future last so respecing them will be cheaper, also the same with ranks, so all powers and ranks you are sure of then ones you may want to change, with most like to change the last ones you take. The last 2 a lot of people pick their travel powers for cheap changing.

When you are retconning/retraining, about the only thing you'd have to worry about when choosing which powers to take when is the Tier requirements. Like to take a Tier 2 power, you need to at least have 1 power in that power set or a couple of out of set powers first. This means if you're over level 35 and retcon, you could chose one of the Tier 4 powers first since the requirement is to be at least level 35.

I assume SK means Sidekicking? Sidekicking to a lower level does not lock out any of your powers chosen at a higher level. The same for SKing up; you do not gain powers. Sidekicking adjusts your stats higher or lower to be on equal footing with your teammates of that level.
