Description: The Bodach is a race of monsters from England. During WWII, the Bodach had been know to use chimneys to enter a home and kidnap children (presummably to eat). Since modern architecture has eliminated the need to chimneys, the Bodach have been know to kidnap children off the streets.

If you're taking votes, I personally like it with just the accent colors. Still gets the point across while not coming across as too... I dunno, obvious, or gimmicky, or something. They both look good, but I think just the accents is the best.

I also prefer Reverse with just the accent colors. While bold colors are typical of the genre, I tend to prefer a more subtle look.
I like both versions of Reverse, but to tell the truth, I kind of wanted to see one more. One that went all the way and split the colors all the way down. To me this would have shown the full evolution of the heroine. Bold, Modest, Subtle.

I used to know the CoH Character Creator like the back of my hand. Alot of options in this creator, and I like it alot, but I am finding it difficult to navigate.
Code Name: Preceptor Real Name: Termus Dans Status: Villain Powers: Termus Dans belongs to an alien race that "puts on" power simialr to how earth folks puts on clothes. The process involves the Preceptor entering a chamber where his cells are bombarded with different types of radiation that grant him different powers. The process kills any being not of the Preceptor's race. Termus has been know to have Superstrength, Invuneralbility, Energy Projection, resistance to Psionics, Stealth Abilities, and other unknown abilities. Description: The Preceptors are an alien race of beings who believe it is their responsibility to "train" champions from each planet. There are many Preceptors around the universe. Termus Dans is the Preceptor assigned to this region of space. The Preceptor is constaintly attacking Earth's heroes in an attempt to find a champion worthy of his training. After years of searching, the Preceptor believes humanity to be an unworthy race.
Code Name: Aroma Real Name: Kim Henry Status: Hero Powers: Aroma can control emotions through the use of emitted pheromone. Each Pheromone has its own unique smell and can induce a variety of emotional and physical responses, including fear, anger, lust, calmness, happiness and sleep. Description: One of the earliest recorded examples of an Enlightened (a type of mutant whose powers active upon death), it is unclear exact how Kim died. What is known is that she was no more then 10 years old, and was playing in a forest with a few older boys. Whatever happened can not be determined due to the fact that Kim died, her powers activated, and she used this ability to cause the boys to kill themselves. A side effect of her transformation was that Kim losed all pigmentation in her skin and hair, and both her eyes and lips turned bright red. Unable to hide her transformation, the townsfolk believed her transformation to be witchcraft and blamed her for the death of the boys. Unable to control her powers, Kim's fear triggered an aroma which turned the crowd into a lynch mob. She was saved by a group of Enlightened who had recently dicovered their abilities. Under the name Aroma, kim now travels with this group of Enlightened helping other people who recently discover their abilities.

It is speculated that she is a result of a experiment that was discovered by the Nightsider during one of his jobs. Due to her lack of emotions, and human personality, the Nightsider "stole" MIndlock the same way a person would steal an object. AS part of the Nightsider's team, the Insurgents, Mindlock is not considered a team member, but instead is used as a "tool" or piece of equipment.
Code Name: N-Case Real Name: "Big" Nick Boyd Status: Villian Powers: N-Case has the ability to form and cover parts of his body with a hard rock like substance. He uses this ability to provide Armour, or to form weapons. N-Case has increased strength allowing him to carry the weight of the "encased portions" of his body. N-Case's most common use for his abilities is to form large rock hans to bet his opponents. Description: Nick Boyd was just an average gang member with a superpower. He had no ambition and no real drive. All that changed the day he met the Nightsider. Now N-Case is an enforcer for one of the most dangerous villianous groups.

Repilitia has enhanced healing abilities including the ability to regrow limbs. Reptilia can breath underwater, and is able to change the colour of her skin like a Chameleon. Description: Is Reptilia a monster? Despite the good this hero does, her appearance scares many, thus labeling her not as a hero but as a public nuisance.
Code Name: Hotsuit and Coldsuit Real Name: Britney Cole and Tiffany Price Status: Villains Powers: These twins have Enhanced Intelligence but only when in proximity to each other. They have developed suits of armour which provide resistances as well as the ability to control either fire or cold. The twin's agression, making them "villains", is also a result of the proximity effect. Description: Britney Cole and Tiffany Price are identicle twin sisters who were separated at birth when their single mother died during childbirth. Both girls ended with loving caring families and led well adjusted lives. However, fate would have both girls getting jobs in the same office building. Each girl would excel at their choosen profession (due to the proximity to each other), however they uncharacteristically became ruthless. Soon the girls would met, and immediately become inseparable.

Totally awesome stuff, and I'd like to comment with something like "I totally dig this arm thingy on that guy" but really, each and every one has been great (except Wildhawk, that one did not appeal to me, but I'm sure others prolly loved it).

Long as they know it was your design. I once had a costume that won in a contest some time ago and few days later at another, someone made a exact copy of my previous costume and was bloating how it was his original idea. There is a reason why clones are frowned upon.

I too want to me a writer, I have TONS of stories in my head about my heroes I just am to lazy to write and when I do I never seem to be able write what I think. My mind turn off kinda :P It is hard.

What I did was copy one of my existing characters' file names and change the character name.

Photobucket just updated to a new system last week, that alters the file name by adding junk. I'll have to check out Picasa then.

Sorry for the slight off-topic, but I just ran into this a few days ago. You can turn it off. Go into your privacy tab in account settings and there should be one of the options that says something like "scramble file names when I upload." The bozos turned that on by default without telling us instead of doing what sensible people would and letting you opt into scrambling if you want to.

Code Name: Starbird Real Name: UnKnown Status: Hero Powers: Flight. Cosmic energy absorption and projection. Comic sheilding that allows Starbird to travel in the vaccuum of space.
Code Name: Steel Cage Real Name: UnKnown Status: Villain Powers: Enhanced Strength and Resistances. Trained in several forms of unarmed combat. Description: The villain known as Steel Cage lives for the fight. Steel Cage is a mercenary, using his skills as muscle for hire. Steel cage is involved with many underground fighting rings.
I don't remember what the first Snowbank look like, but this one looks pretty cool
Yeah, that a really cool set. No pun intended. I forget the set it comes from but I've seen it set to many colors. Lava. Earth. Ice. I took an Ice hero PAX once posted and switch it to Purple and call it Candy Mountain. Perhaps someone with more skill could figure out a way to make on more colorful, like a prism of color.
The bio makes SB powers seem a bit like The Sandman (as in, the Spider-man villain) because he, too, can make himself hard (as stone) or soft (as dust). Hard for fighting, soft for escaping. I can even image Snow Flakes taking flight on any breeze. Not a TP CO has, but could easily create by altering Scarab Flight or Ninja Leaves Flight, maybe? Maybe call it Snow Flurry Flight.
Code Name: Arabian Deathstalker Real Name: Nasir Al-Mokhtar Status: Villain Powers: Enhanced Strength and Resistances. Uses Spike like weapon with several poisons. Description: Known terrorist and FBI's most wanted, Al-Mokhtar was given a new purpose the day he crossed paths with the villian known as the Nightsider. As part of the Nightsider's team, The Insurgents, Arabian Deathstalkeris as deadly as the scorpion he gets his name from.
Code Name: The Dreadmage Real Name: Unknown Status: Villain Powers: Unmeasured Magic Potential. Know to pass through solid objects, take over minds of his opponents, and project concusion beams. Description: The Dreadmage is the Nightsider's go-to person when in comes to magic. Due to his age, he is not an "active" member of the team, but has been known to join the Insurgents in the field.

Author's Note: I don't really have this idea fully developed yet to give you a description of powers or personality, but I do have this idea floating around in my head. Imagine a hero, who didn't exist. She was the figment of someone's imagination. My idea was that a young girl who had the ability to bring to "life" her imagination, but only during a sleep state. Imagine this girl was hurt and placed into a medically induced coma (so the hero could be active during the day). Her last thought being that if there was a "superhero" around, that hero could have saved her from harm. Thus her mind creates the most visually beautiful female hero that she could imagine. When I imagine her powers, I feel she would have flight and Intangibility.

Powers: Termus Dans belongs to an alien race that "puts on" power simialr to how earth folks puts on clothes. The process involves the Preceptor entering a chamber where his cells are bombarded with different types of radiation that grant him different powers. The process kills any being not of the Preceptor's race. Termus has been know to have Superstrength, Invuneralbility, Energy Projection, resistance to Psionics, Stealth Abilities, and other unknown abilities.
Description: The Preceptors are an alien race of beings who believe it is their responsibility to "train" champions from each planet. There are many Preceptors around the universe. Termus Dans is the Preceptor assigned to this region of space. The Preceptor is constaintly attacking Earth's heroes in an attempt to find a champion worthy of his training. After years of searching, the Preceptor believes humanity to be an unworthy race.

Powers: Aroma can control emotions through the use of emitted pheromone. Each Pheromone has its own unique smell and can induce a variety of emotional and physical responses, including fear, anger, lust, calmness, happiness and sleep.
Description: One of the earliest recorded examples of an Enlightened (a type of mutant whose powers active upon death), it is unclear exact how Kim died. What is known is that she was no more then 10 years old, and was playing in a forest with a few older boys. Whatever happened can not be determined due to the fact that Kim died, her powers activated, and she used this ability to cause the boys to kill themselves. A side effect of her transformation was that Kim losed all pigmentation in her skin and hair, and both her eyes and lips turned bright red. Unable to hide her transformation, the townsfolk believed her transformation to be witchcraft and blamed her for the death of the boys. Unable to control her powers, Kim's fear triggered an aroma which turned the crowd into a lynch mob. She was saved by a group of Enlightened who had recently dicovered their abilities. Under the name Aroma, kim now travels with this group of Enlightened helping other people who recently discover their abilities.

Powers: Mindlock has unmeasured psionic and telepathy abilities. She has been known to read thoughts, read mind, and create a psionic link between her team. Mindlock wears a Psionic enhancer on her head.
Description: Not much is known about Mindlock. It is speculated that she is a result of a experiment that was discovered by the Nightsider during one of his jobs. Due to her lack of emotions, and human personality, the Nightsider "stole" MIndlock the same way a person would steal an object. AS part of the Nightsider's team, the Insurgents, Mindlock is not considered a team member, but instead is used as a "tool" or piece of equipment.

Powers: N-Case has the ability to form and cover parts of his body with a hard rock like substance. He uses this ability to provide Armour, or to form weapons. N-Case has increased strength allowing him to carry the weight of the "encased portions" of his body. N-Case's most common use for his abilities is to form large rock hans to bet his opponents.
Description: Nick Boyd was just an average gang member with a superpower. He had no ambition and no real drive. All that changed the day he met the Nightsider. Now N-Case is an enforcer for one of the most dangerous villianous groups.

Description: Is Reptilia a monster? Despite the good this hero does, her appearance scares many, thus labeling her not as a hero but as a public nuisance.

Powers: These twins have Enhanced Intelligence but only when in proximity to each other. They have developed suits of armour which provide resistances as well as the ability to control either fire or cold. The twin's agression, making them "villains", is also a result of the proximity effect.
Description: Britney Cole and Tiffany Price are identicle twin sisters who were separated at birth when their single mother died during childbirth. Both girls ended with loving caring families and led well adjusted lives. However, fate would have both girls getting jobs in the same office building. Each girl would excel at their choosen profession (due to the proximity to each other), however they uncharacteristically became ruthless. Soon the girls would met, and immediately become inseparable.

Seriously, I look forward to this every day. Just wanted to say you're not tossing these out into a vacuum. Totally awesome stuff, and I'd like to comment with something like "I totally dig this arm thingy on that guy" but really, each and every one has been great (except Wildhawk, that one did not appeal to me, but I'm sure others prolly loved it).

Long as they know it was your design. I once had a costume that won in a contest some time ago and few days later at another, someone made a exact copy of my previous costume and was bloating how it was his original idea. There is a reason why clones are frowned upon.

If someone wanted to use one of these, how would you suggest they go about it? I only ask because the file names do not seem to meet CO's norm on my PC so dropping one into the Screenshots folder does not automatically make them available in the Character Creator.

Typically a CO Character file made on my account looks something like -

Your file names are quite different. Is this because you posted them up to Photobucket or somethingelse?
I use - Picasa at Google.com so my files remain unchanged when I post them. Since I don't use Photobucket I don't know what goes on there, but I have used other sites and some places force a re-name onto files as they are uploaded. Even here, if you post a pic to PW CORE is changes the file name which I just discovered this week.
Again, I'm only asking because these heroes are so wonderful looking, that I'm sure folks will eventually want to use one, at the very least, as a template for one of their own.
You should do it, I bet you would really be good.
I too want to me a writer, I have TONS of stories in my head about my heroes I just am to lazy to write and when I do I never seem to be able write what I think. My mind turn off kinda :P It is hard.
Oh, I sorta put War Daughter in my mind :P I can change the outfit if you would like, it is not the same story as yours it different.
I thiiiiiink I ran into this problem while helping someone out with a costume before.
What I did was copy one of my existing characters' file names and change the character name.
So,
Costume_ZedBrightlander_BetaMax_CC_Comic_Page_Blue_413077067
would become
Costume_ZedBrightlander_JusticeFace_CC_Comic_Page_Blue_413077067
and you should be able to see it in your list. If that doesn't work, try also changing the username (this would actually be ideal, because it'll separate your costumes from others' in your list, making it easier to find).
However, what I have been doing is taking an existing file, copying the file name, then pasting that file name onto the subject file.

Photobucket just updated to a new system last week, that alters the file name by adding junk. I'll have to check out Picasa then.
Sorry for the slight off-topic, but I just ran into this a few days ago. You can turn it off. Go into your privacy tab in account settings and there should be one of the options that says something like "scramble file names when I upload." The bozos turned that on by default without telling us instead of doing what sensible people would and letting you opt into scrambling if you want to.

Yeah, that a really cool set. No pun intended. I forget the set it comes from but I've seen it set to many colors. Lava. Earth. Ice. I took an Ice hero PAX once posted and switch it to Purple and call it Candy Mountain. Perhaps someone with more skill could figure out a way to make on more colorful, like a prism of color.
The bio makes SB powers seem a bit like The Sandman (as in, the Spider-man villain) because he, too, can make himself hard (as stone) or soft (as dust). Hard for fighting, soft for escaping. I can even image Snow Flakes taking flight on any breeze. Not a TP CO has, but could easily create by altering Scarab Flight or Ninja Leaves Flight, maybe? Maybe call it Snow Flurry Flight.

Author's Note: I don't really have this idea fully developed yet to give you a description of powers or personality, but I do have this idea floating around in my head. Imagine a hero, who didn't exist. She was the figment of someone's imagination. My idea was that a young girl who had the ability to bring to "life" her imagination, but only during a sleep state. Imagine this girl was hurt and placed into a medically induced coma (so the hero could be active during the day). Her last thought being that if there was a "superhero" around, that hero could have saved her from harm. Thus her mind creates the most visually beautiful female hero that she could imagine. When I imagine her powers, I feel she would have flight and Intangibility.
