Please extend the duration of the winter event

As the title already implies, I would like for the winter event to be extended 1 or 2 more weeks. I believe that many ppl (like myself) had things that they still wanted to accomplish during the event yet did not manage to. I don't think there should be any problems extending its duration considering it was launched late and a 10 day event (not exactly sure when this started, 21 or 25) is somewhat short :rolleyes:.

    I agree, having the winter event last Under 1 week, and that the actual christmas week when most cant take part is beyond ridiculous!

    END IT! I fricking need them to move on and that wont happen if I'm still fihting Clarence in a week.

    I don't know about you, but I keep seeing these presents lying all over and I can't help but to open them. The next thing I know my inventory space is cluttered with action figure parts and consumables. Maybe I'll learn my lesson by next December.

    Well the giant mecha teddy is everywhere. Besides I agree with Telepathy NOW!

    Its been almost a good solid 4 months since I've been able to play my main character, because there has been no visible progress for telepathy and/or Phase 2.

    Whilst I do agree it is disappointing that the event started this late, its high time we move on, no point celebrating Xmas into a totally new year.

    Well Trailturtle said that he'd heard our earlier complaints about the time duration. So either he didn't get a chance to pass them down to the devs, or the devs decided to say no.

    Again, profoundly disappointed.

    And as for this event somehow delaying the Telepathy pass, you do realize how deeply silly that is, don't you? They don't have to have someone at Cryptic keep their hand pressed down on a switch to keep it running, y'know.

    And some people still wonder why we have trust issues with the Devs and GMs. We were told the Holiday event was a 10-day one right? And it turns out to be less than a week?

    What else do we get to be lied to about?

    No no, it was 10 days long. It just took 4 days to 'boot up'. That's how it worked last year too.

    That said, yes, having it run for SIX DAYS was complete and total trash.

    ha. That was why the Clarence channel was so silent. :biggrin:
    I though the Winter Event would go till the next maintenance.
    Too much grind and still miss just one piece, Wondrous Cap from Finkle mission :mad:

    Edit: Nvm, i think still can do, then i should had done more Clarence hunt. xp

    LOL that's not a plausible reason. It's not like by removing the winter event you remove people's desire to do the things they do in Zone chat. The event at least gives "some" of those "individuals" something to do instead of trolling. I honestly don't see the problem with extending it a week or two, it's not like it will come back soon anyways.

    The reason some people dont like this event (and the anniversary one) is that while its on they cant use the centre of ren centre for dueling, when its original purpose was as a dueling centre - umm no wait it was designed as a social rp centre, nevermind...

    How could we be so selfish, making them only able to duel EVERYWHERE at ANYTIME, except 1 place for a few days, just so we can do an event for just A FEW DAYS out of the entire year AT ALL in a place designed for it!!

    I must inform you I am halfway through making my troll race mod for Skyrim it even comes with a bridge to live under.

    Retrocognition costs every bit as much as precognition, and is sooooo much more reliable.
