Munitions Build: Looking for input

Concept for this toon is a slightly cybernetically enchanced mercenary (robotic forearm replacement, cybernetic eye, neural chip). So I definitely want to stick with the Technology power set as much as possible for theme. I've remade this toon many times, and I'm pretty sure I was high when I made the last build...

Took a little bit of time and threw this build together as a rework to the hodgepodge that I currently have:

PowerHouse (Link to this build)

Name: AR/GG/Rocket Muntions Revised

Archetype: Freeform

Super Stats:
Level 6: Ego (Primary)
Level 10: Dexterity (Secondary)
Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

Talents:
Level 1: The Soldier
Level 6: Negotiator
Level 9: Impresario
Level 12: Quick Recovery
Level 15: Wordly
Level 18: Amazing Stamina
Level 21: Tireless

Powers:
Level 1: Steady Shot
Level 1: Assault Rifle (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 6: Killer Instinct
Level 8: Concentration
Level 11: Targeting Computer (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 14: Gatling Gun (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 17: Energy Shield
Level 20: Holdout Shot (Stim Pack)
Level 23: Evasive Maneuvers (Sleight of Mind)
Level 26: Support Drones (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 29: Ego Surge (Nimble Mind)
Level 32: Resurgence (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 35: Rocket (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 38: Smoke Grenade (Rank 2, Rank 3)

Travel Powers:
Level 6: Jet Pack (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 35: Teleportation

Specializations:
Ego: Force of Will (2/2)
Ego: Insight (3/3)
Ego: Follow Through (3/3)
Ego: Sixth Sense (2/3)
Guardian: Fortified Gear (3/3)
Guardian: Ruthless (2/2)
Guardian: Find the Mark (2/3)
Guardian: The Best Defense (3/3)
Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
Vindicator: The Rush of Battle (3/3)
Vindicator: Modified Gear (2/2)
Mastery: Ego Mastery (1/1)

Mandatory powers due to theme: Steady Shot, Assault Rifle, Gatling Gun, Targeting Computer, Rocket, Jet Pack (and Concentration because duh ranged dps).

I can part with anything else, although I'd kind of like to stick with either Energy Shield or Force Shield for theme.

I'm not sure if Conviction or Bionic Shielding (would prefer for theme) would be better than Holdout Shot for a self heal, or if Support Drones/Smoke Grenade/Evasive Maneuvers are actually useful in this build (I don't even know how Smoke Grenade is supposed to work anymore, lol). Maybe Protection Field too? *shrug*

I'd like to keep the Drones if they're good for the build, since part of my character's backstory is being a technological genius (in addition to stone cold killa, of course).

I figured since I took SS CON taking Resurgence and Ego Surge [Nimble Mind] would be a good idea for clickies. Since I'm not stacking Dodge or anything I felt that CON would be better than something else, and talent for REC or maybe INT. My PSS is EGO to work with Killer Instinct and Concentration, then DEX SS to feed more crit.

Any advice before I spend my free RetCon token would be much appreciated.

I'd go with this. Quarry for more efficiency, Conviction for more healing up-time, Masterful dodge for a longer time where you have to worry less about damage, Mow 'em down for more assault rifle dps, and Exploit Opening since you have fast-hitting attacks.

Also, I dropped Dex for Int because you'll need it to constantly have zero downtime. Just stat for crit via gear and you'll get all the crit chance you need!

dex will actually be better for a quarry build, because with ego you will need to keep it high for more severity while with dex you can keep your secondaries high for the same effect(namely int). another benefit of boosting your int is the audacity stacks from quarry, since they scale off int. and cap out at 30 per stack (around 340 int or so) so if you get your int to 340ish you will already have 90 ego just from your audacity stacks.

the other benefit of dex is expose weakness, and the mastery which would give you 20 dex, and 10 avoidance and severity.

here are two examples of how it would work:

Taskforce- pistol slinger built for survival with dps to boot.
kyudo - ancient archer master of the art of the bow

gear(only using r5 mods for now):
    p. offense - +110 to your highest stat, INT in both cases. with crit strike or +to primary stat depends on specs.

primary defense- same as above. with dodge/avoid always.

primary utility- same as above. with cooldown redux over cost discount, depends on the build and if you need more than the other.

secondaries are up to you, I usually go for a vigilante piece on my s. offense with crit stike when I can afford it and fill up the other two slots where I lack.

    Stats(quarry is with audacity stacks):

    kyudo
    -242 DEX
    -404 INT
    -131 EGO
    quarry r3: 95%

    taskforce
    212 DEX
    318 INT
    222 CON
    quarry r2+adv: 78%

    hope this helps.
