Question about Power Armor powers

Greetings everyone. There are some questions I would like to ask about :
1) Should I upgrade my micro munitions to rank 3 or I take the advantage named Alpha Strike in which it has higher damage against fewer damage?
2) Should I upgrade my minigun's rank or take the advantage Infrared Guidance System which increase the radius range to 5 feet?
3) As a dpser is it important to have break free from Active Offense? I plan to take Imbue to increase my critical chance and severity but it has much more lesser break free than other active offenses.
4) My character should have around 80% critical severity when reach level 40. Should I take primary offense which has critical severity? I can fire hand slot, shoulder slot and chest slot at one time when I reach level 40 and gear up properly.
5) Is force cascade a good power to take since I have a empty power slot that have not been decided yet.
6) Does circuit reconstruct able to critically heal?

My current powers :
1) Power Bolt
2) Energy Shield with Phalanx Defense System
3) Minigun with U-238 rounds
4) Micro Munitions
5) Plasma Beam
6) Masterful Dodge rank 3
7) Fire All Weapon rank 3
8) Overdrive
9) Targeting Computer rank 3
10) Concentration

For questions 1 and 2, don't take Alpha Strike for Micro Munitions. Do take Infrared Guidance for Mini-gun for the 5 foot radius. As a DPSer, you will want to hit more targets right?

Force Shield w/ Force Sheath block power is better than the Phalanx Defense one that you're using.

    1) Skip the Alpha Strike advantage. You'll get better use out of Rank 3 instead.
    2) Do take Infrared Guidance System. It's worth the 1 point to have a wider cylinder of damage. I'd also recommend the U-238 Rounds advantage. The defense debuff is worthwhile especially when you'll likely be firing one or two other slot powers.
    3) Imbue as an AO falls a little flat since they did not make it work like other AOs. I'd recommend Lock 'n Load (gives some Crit hit chance), Ego Surge (it's advantage buffs Crit hit chance), or Ice Sheath (increases Crit Severity).
    4) I see no harm in getting the Heroic gear with Crit Severity. I usually do and slot a Gambler's Gem for increasing the Crit Hit chance also.
    5) Haven't used the power myself, but I see no reason why not to take it especially if it's in theme.
    6) From my experience, no, it doesn't crit. My toon that has it doesn't have a high crit chance anyhow.

In response to pugdaddy's post, the block you chose isn't bad, especially if it was in theme. Force Shield with the Force Sheath advantage is great though. The advantage gives a small defense boost for a few seconds after blocking, and each hit during that time will return energy. But the Energy Shield advantage does provide a decent defense buff while you are firing a Power Armor slot attack, and it doesn't take away from your damage like the Laser Knight advantage does.
100% of the world is crazy, 95% are in denial.

    Thanks for the advice.
Currently I am using Guardian/Vindicator specialization trees.
My total critical chance should be around 40% cause Dexterity is my secondary superstat. There will be 6% critical chance from the Vindicator. The Intelligence specialization tree grants me 20% more value from the original advantage of the secondary superstats.
