Need some build advice

After a few months break... I'm back, again. Looking over the patch notes not a whole lot has changed in the powers...
But with the changes that have happened, I'm curious if an Ice DPS build is now viable with the buff to Ice Cage? Or is it still lagging behind other power sets (and thus characters I already have)?
Also, what would any of you suggest for a ranged-only Boomerang build?
Other builds I'm looking to work on: Munitions with Two-Gun Mojo/Bullet Beatdown/Lead Tempest, and a Force Tank build now that the shield layering makes sense.
