At least I assume it's a bug. I'm not sure if it's just my controller or if it's the game, since I don't have any other games to test this on. Whatever it is, it's extreeeemely irritating and I'm wondering if it's not just me who has this issue.
Without even touching the joystick the camera tends to start floating to a bird's eye view on random occasions in various speeds depending on the camera's mood. Sometimes everything works fine. Sometimes the issue is persistent for several minutes. I just want to see what's in front of me and chat without having to hold the freakin' stick to keep the cam steady.
Help me, Champions Online forum. You're my only hope.
It is probably a case of your right thumbstick being too loose and drifting out of the "dead zone" where it should be centered.
Re-calibrating your gamepad via Windows Control Panel might help. Unfortunately, I don't see any options for making the dead zone larger in either the game or control panel.
Other than that, try another controller if you can. If you get the same issue using the controller with an Xbox 360, consider returning it as faulty.
