Brigade and Myriad

The previous Brigade thread got "Archived Post"-ed by the Cryptic-PWE forum merge, so this thread has a dual purpose: continuing where the original thread left off, and introducing new players to Brigade, the Multi-Man and Myriad, the Multi-Girl!

So who is Brigade? Let me let Smackwell tell you all about him. Here's the first post from the original Brigade thread:
So I'd had this idea back in the CoH days for a "Super Group." I wanted to do it here, but I'm really anti-social and none of my friends and family play, so I just stuck it in the back burner. Reading RogueKorr's thread with his alien clone gave me the bug to pull it back out.

I just recently got my second "main" to 40, and decided, what better way to start a new character and force myself to team with people than to start this Super Group. Hopefully you guys like the idea. Without further ado:

Brigade!
Brigade, the Multi-Man, is a Super Hero with a unique power: he can split his body into multiple copies. Beyond that, whenever he makes a new copy, it develops its own powers, completely independent of his own super powers.

(picture edited out because pre-forum change attachments don't work)

The idea would be that any Brigade logged on to the game is a copy of him, and when logged out, that copy disappears until it can be "summoned" again (logging back in).

Rules for character creation would be using the attached costume file and naming the character Brigade. Beyond that, everything else is up to the player. Choice of powers, what the powers look like, anything, is up to anyone who wants to be Brigade.

As far as Super Group rules, casual and friendly. Every member will have the ability to recruit and invite people to the Super Group, but they must be named Brigade and use the attached costume. While I don't RP, I won't mind if people choose to. The Super Group is already formed, and waiting for people to join.

I'll make it a point to join any other Brigade who's logged in and sidekick down or up to their level, help do missions, etc., since this is a character made to get me to get used to teaming.

So, is anyone interested in the idea? If there's enough interest we can get some people together and do some missions! If not, Brigade can go work on his tea set!

Since the initial announcement, we've had several Brigade outings: beating up on each others' nemeses, a couple of anniversaries, some blood moons, a couple of open mission runs, some costume contests, a run of Resistance, etc. Samples of some previous Brigade outings can be seen here.

Like Smackwell said, the supergroup is pretty casual and friendly. Pretty much all that's required is having the name Brigade and having the "official" Brigade costume in one of your costume slots so that when we do all run around together, we're all uniform.

The Brigade costume linked above does contain a few pieces that are not available to Silver players by default, so we also have a Costume file for Silver Players.

If this sounds like something you're interested in, grab that costume file and make yourself a Brigade! Then you can contact any Brigade you run into for an SG invite, or leave a message here in the forum, and sombody'll toss you a 'vite. Also, please feel free to join the Brigade chat channel in game.

And if all of this sounds like something you're interested in, but you'd prefer to be playing a female character, look no further than Brigade's sister, Myriad the Multi-Girl!

Here's the official Myriad Costume file.

If there are any questions, feel free to post away in here or grab me if you see me in-game (my in-game global handle is @RandomChance42).

And Smacky, if I've missed anything in here, just gimme a Gibbs-slap and lemme know what needs fixin'.
