This suggestion can be made into either a PvE or PvP oriented map. I'd love to see more done with nemeses, and this idea would allow people to combat the nemeses of themselves and their group mates. This would function as a 100% nemesis brawl with no other elements than pure action.
PvE
All players (1-5 players) start on a map similar to Zombie Apocalypse. Instead of zombies, nemesis minions of types related to all the nemeses swarm in to defeat them. Every so often a nemesis spawns in the middle of the chaos and attempts to tear the heroes apart until their defeat. Multiple nemeses may exist at a time if one is not defeated before the next one spawns. These nemeses will have a decent health pool to allow a drawn out fight.
Whenever a nemesis is defeated, their particular minion types cease spawning (but will be replaced by others to keep the tension up). This continues until all 1-5 nemeses have been defeated, ending with a reward. The end reward will be nemesis tokens equal to 10 times the number of nemeses that were defeated.
To add difficulty, defeated heroes have to wait a set amount of time before the entry 'unlocks' briefly, allowing all prior defeated heroes to rejoin the fight. The longer the fight goes, the longer the entry will be locked. If the heroes are all defeated and in the entry area, they lose the match but gain a number of nemesis tokens equal to 8 times the number of nemeses that were defeated.
This mode can include either a random queue for group finding or solo queuing for those who just want to solo or do this in a small premade group.
PvP
This is related to a suggestion I made a while back, making a nemesis themed variation of Zombie Apocalypse. Instead of zombies, the players have either a specific objective or simply the objective of survival as they combat a seemingly endless barrage of nemesis minions related to all the present players. The battlefield will be a colorful mish mash of various nemesis minions and power sets. However, in this mode, a defeated player will instead release as their nemesis (or a generic if they do not have one) and attempt to help overrun the remaining players. Also, all nemesis minions spawned related to that nemesis receive a decent buff as they're motivated by the presence of their leader (to help offset the fact that the nemesis sets likely will be inferior to a freeform character).
I wouldn't mind having some kind of mission mode that allows us as the players to basically single out our nemeses and fight them. It doesn't have to be a story (in fact by this point I'd rather if it wasn't a story, since a nemesis can vary as much as a hero can and plopping in a generic story won't fit all nemesis ideas), all that needs to be involved is Heroes versus Nemeses and accessibility.
Currently all we really have is Nemcon (Not very accessible without a five person group), clues (Only one every 8 hours or so) and the nemesis alert (once again we're at the whims of when it pops up). I'd love if nemesis combat was a bit more accessible to those who want it to be.
