Therakiel's Sword still drops?? (TrailTurtle, a little help, please??)

Turtle, could you help us in this matter, please??

I think that not just me, as I was discussing with some folks on trade channel last night, but some of the players would like a confirmation that Therakiel's Sword still drops.

I noticed that some friends and players are finally doing TT again, but no one could confirm the drop. I've asked on trade channel, Zone chat, and some other channels, and no one heard of a drop in months!! I mean at least 6 months!! I'm looking for the Sword for at least 6 months, and no freaking drop!!!

Last week, we did 8 runs on TT with Vladic's Crystal, one after another, on Elite, and all we got was the Wings of Therakiel, in all runs, and nothing else.

So, Turtle, if you could check with someone if the Sword still drops, it would be awesome!!

    actually this question should be expanded:
    since alert patch what has been removed and what still drops?
    or just send the info to lohr so she can update the wiki.

    According to the drop tables the sword is still available to drop as of the canceled mega D event.

    yeah, according to the tables it drops, but what?s weird is that in over 6 months, we don?t have news about a drop...

    That?s why we want an inside confirmation...

    That's what I'm saying. During the testing on PTS for the Mega Destroid invasion that was supposed to go down for the anniversary I asked the Devs present, and they confirmed it was still set to drop.

    If it's set to drop and it's still not dropping then it's bugged, in which case the only way to find out is for players to find it bugged and report it. The only way to do that is to run TT a million times like it used to be.

    I don't think it's bugged, I just think that nobody's tried to get it since On Alert.

    Now, if you don't believe me that the Devs said this to me, that's gravy, and I can respect that, but in that case you want from-the-horse's-mouth-official, but according to the system from "insiders," it's confirmed as working.

    Well, thanks for clarify that Pion... Now I know that you heard from the Devs! :smile:

    I think it's probably bugged then, cuz there's a lot of new Wings of Therakiel on Auction House, so that mean that more ppl are doing TT again, trying to get the Sword.

    Me, for example, never quit trying TT, cuz it's one of the drops that I want since I've started playing the game over 1 and a half year ago... Never got lucky getting the Sword... :frown:

    There were some on AH, but I didn't have the G to get one, and when I finally got the G, there were none left, On Alert came live, and ppl stopped playing TT for a while...

    But nowadays, I always see ppl on zone chat asking for folks to join for a run (or 8 in a row in our case last week), and we still don't have news about a drop.

    And that's why I created this thread, to see if we can get an answer from the devs (or Turtle), or some player that actualy got the Sword after On Alert came to live...

    Well along that line, could we remove that silly 20 hours before you can do the mission again limitation for TT runs. I like TT lairs and I dun want to be limited to just crystal runs.

    I started doing Therakiel runs way back when it was introduced because I had "heard" that the sword he carried was a drop. After about a dozen runs, I found that it wasn't a drop ... yet.

    Well, lots of players wanted the wings, so I stuck around and did lots of runs, full and partial, to get others the wings. Finally, during one run, everyone already had the wings, so I finally got wings.

    Then, when the sword was introduced as a drop, the group I ran with had it drop after a few runs. They all knew that was what got me to doing TT runs and let me go NEED. Since then, I've done another 100 or so runs to continue helping others get the wings or sword.

    In all (because I keep track of this and other things, like 25 Redeyes from Biselle OM), I've done 223 TT runs. However, I haven't done any TT runs post On Alert, since I don't really play CO as much any more. So, I certainly can't confirm sword drops post On Alert.

    Yeah, that's the main unlock I want too.... :frown:

    That's why I'd brought it up.

    Sadly, it's soooooooooo unlikely to drop.....

    The sword drops, it's just a low chance on elite difficulty.
