Vulkhano, god of fire and earth!!

I have this wonderful concept of a Tiger-Man from India who can control fire and earth. But I don't know what I'm doing when picking up powers.

I got Dex as main, with Ego and End as secondary. My powers are, so far, Throw Fire, Stone Shot, Fire Shield, Lightening Reflexes and Thermal Reverberation.

Mostly I play PVE, no PVP at all. Any advice is welcomed! :D

Here's my take on a Fire-Earth build. This is not a leveling build, I tested it on a lv40 toon with all R7 mods and works awesome. The way I balanced the 2 sets was to have Fire be the main DPS side and Earth somewhat of a defensive side. It's all AoE attacks with nice synergies.

    PowerHouse (Link to this build)

    Name: Fire-Earth Build

    Archetype: Freeform

    Super Stats:
Level 6: Dexterity (Primary) I get this for the spec tree and mastery (133DEX in my test toon)
Level 10: Intelligence (Secondary) Get as much as you can, MSI and Concentration scale with INT (502INT in my test toon)
Level 15: Recovery (Secondary) Get as much as you need to attack from rest (110REC in my test toon)

    Talents:
    Level 1: The Disciple
    Level 6: Agile
    Level 9: Brilliant
    Level 12: Tireless
    Level 15: Coordinated
    Level 18: Impresario
    Level 21: Negotiator

    Powers:
    Level 1: Wield Earth
Level 1: Stone Shroud (Rank 2, Rank 3) Theme block and to proc double healing from Reconstruct adv on Fisuure
Level 6: Land Slide Use after Fire Snake + Fissure to stay close to main target/Fissure or after Evasive
Level 8: Molecular Self-Assembly It will proc from many of your powers
Level 11: Lightning Reflexes (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 14: Bountiful Chi Resurgence (Resurgent Reiki) Nice heal with adv.
    Level 17: Masterful Dodge
Level 20: Conflagration (Rank 2, Rank 3) Main attack
Level 23: Fire Snake (Rank 2, Rank 3) Opener, Fire Debuffer
Level 26: Fissure (Rank 2, Reconstruct) Opener(open with snake + fissure) adv. heals if you stay on top of it
Level 29: Evasive Maneuvers (Rank 2, Rank 3) Extra Dodge Chance
Level 32: Ascension (Rank 2, Rank 3) Breakfree
    Level 35: Concentration Toggle
Level 38: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3) Extra heal, nice with high crit chance/severity

    Travel Powers:
    Level 6: Teleportation
    Level 35: Acrobatics (Rank 2, Rank 3)

    Specializations:
    Dexterity: Combat Training (1/3)
    Dexterity: Brush It Off (2/2)
    Dexterity: Power Swell (2/2)
    Dexterity: Deadly Aim (3/3)
    Dexterity: Expose Weakness (2/2)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Modified Gear (2/2)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (3/3)
    Guardian: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Guardian: Ruthless (2/2)
    Guardian: Find the Mark (2/3)
    Guardian: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Mastery: Dexterity Mastery (1/1)

I went with all INT mods so there's no need for your energy builder, cooldown reduction gear/mods so you can always have fire snake + fissure on. And crit chance offensive gear/mods for a ton of crits.

Thanks for the advice, I've been pondering using more fire than earth, since I have a couple of toons that are earth based.

Should I use fire to level up and then retcon it to the build you suggested? :3

Here is an offensive mid range build I have been playing around with...

    PowerHouse (Link to this build)

    Name:

    Archetype: Freeform

    Super Stats:
    Level 6: Endurance (Primary)
    Level 10: Dexterity (Secondary)
    Level 15: Intelligence (Secondary)

    Talents:
    Level 1: The Inferno
    Level 6: Agile
    Level 9: Energetic
    Level 12: Brilliant
    Level 15: Coordinated
    Level 18: Accurate
    Level 21: Investigator

    Powers:
    Level 1: Throw Fire
    Level 1: Fireball (Unstable Accelerant)
    Level 6: Thermal Reverberation
    Level 8: Concentration
Level 11: Aura of Ebon Destruction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 14: Electric Sheath (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 17: Bountiful Chi Resurgence (Rank 2, Resurgent Reiki)
Level 20: Earth Splitter (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 23: Flashfire (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 26: Fissure (Rank 2, Reconstruct)
Level 29: Evasive Maneuvers (Sleight of Mind)
    Level 32: Brimstone (Aftershock)
    Level 35: Lock N Load (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 38:

    Travel Powers:
Level 6: Power Flight (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 35:

    Specializations:
    Endurance: Readiness (3/3)
    Endurance: Withstand (1/2)
    Endurance: Gear Utilization (3/3)
    Endurance: Power Overwhelming (3/3)
    Guardian: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Guardian: Ruthless (2/2)
    Guardian: Find the Mark (2/3)
    Guardian: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Offensive Expertise (2/2)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (3/3)

I would say you'd have to retcon into this build no earlier than 20, preferably 23, if you plan on using to level. Currently 29 ATM and it works pretty good. Earthsplitter is your main damage dealer, with Fissure and Flashfire as DoT support (and flashfire returning energy along with Brimstone's advantage). Tap Fireball once in awhile to keep that debuff up.

Still undecided on the last power, and the super stats/specializations can be played around with.
