We just made a quick update to PTS to address a few issues with vehicle models not displaying properly, and an improved vehicle mod UI.

Where it happens
What happens
UI:
-New vehicle customization UI window. By Ctrl + Rght clicking on your vehicle icon, you will bring up a vehicle customization window that allows players to equip mods and weapon systems.
vehicles:
-Healing Drone summon power is now cheaper to cast/use
-Fixed bug where vehicle would disappear when used in conjunction with certain female costume pieces
-Addressed instances in which hit reacts and emotes would break bike riding pose
Vehicle tutorial:
-Max Plank is waiting for players in Ren Center to 'leanr'em' how to acquire vehicles, and how to work their weapons and mods.
Known Issues:
-Tutorial is still a work-in-progress
-In vehicle customization UI, double-clicking a mod will overwrite an existing/slotted mod even if all slots are filled.
-Addressed instances in which hit reacts and emotes would break bike riding pose
Can we try and have this fix applied to Acro, Superspeed and all their variants? They have the same issue where hit reacts and I think power animations break the special travel power animation, and your character defaults to the regular running animation. Also happens to Flight very, very rarely.
As much as a Benny Hill/Yakety Sax travel power would be amusing, that's not the one I chose.
...I just recently realized something really disturbing. We're all eating Sodapop3's "humble pie."
BUG: The Grav Bike Widow's engine flames are wrong. It's using the same exhaust as the Grav Bike Hawk (which is an X shape) instead of the Widow (which is a cross shape).
BUG: Due to the VERY long-standing bug of 'all cylinder attacks hit your target and any objects to the right in like a 90 degree angle', the Railgun power is all but worthless as it has no target cap. Yeah, you just did 10k damage, but it was divided into your target, his two buddies, and 15 chairs WAY to the right.
BUG: The Hover Tank Avalanche has no texture when used on a female character. Did not test male characters.
BUG: Players who have lots of costume slots aren't allowed access to them all while on PTS. For me it's anything past slot 22. Might be a PTS thing as there's (still) no Z-Store access.
FYI: Currently you can buy the Hawkwing and two 'lower tier' (not all available slots) tanks for 70 Drifter Salvage (or $25 using the average salvage dropped of 2.8 based on 1000 samples over on the boards), or a 'full featured' (all available based on the versions the testing guy in front of the MC Powerhouse sells) one for 200 Salvage (or $72).
- Modules in pve missions (alerts as carrier defense) + calatysts as now to up them
- Weapon mods (not upgradable) in Qstore and drifter salvage
- Future vehicles in Zstore and ...tada... lockboxes ! yihaaaa !
If you're going to charge for these things, don't make it $15 so one character can use them. Make it a global unlock, like the Hideouts. $15 so a single character can use a bike is excessive.
Here is a question for you Nisdiddums, are we or are we not going to get the option to customize the color of the vehicles as we do costume pieces, if no then please state so so I know there is nothing for me personally to look forward to in Champions Online from here on end.
I checked out the new vehicles for a few minutes and it was pretty neat, better than I expected. I still would like to see more attention on content, but I can see how the vehicles will help generate some revenue and allow Cryptic to perhaps reuse functionality from STO.
So, my takeaway is that I am looking forward to the vehicles a little more than I was before, but I still hope once they are out the door that the focus can return more to high-level content/end-game.

The vehicles that the Debugger sells are listed as Bind on Account, so you can pass them around via the hideout bank at least. But yes, I see what you're saying - you want them to be unlocks you can get one on each alt like say, the hoverboots.

These animations are broken in general, especially on the females. Walking with macro and then strafing making them slow-mo jog.
Also holding any weapons with Athletics doesn't get overwriting animation like Acrobatics UNLESS strafing. Its opposite of the female animation problem.

Could be a unique event/chain of missions involving *something/one* In which you gather desired mods and weapons for your vehicle.

Add it to the new unity sky mission rewards and let us choose which one we want.
