Tired of the "Blood Moon" sky

So its cool that Champs has the whole "Blood Moon" holiday event. But TBH, I'm getting tired of seeing that sky effect. Does it have to be a constant 24/7 thing? And why does it have to show up on zones that have nothing to do with the actual event?

This is the last day. Be patient, you won't have to worry about it much longer.

You are one of the few then. I hate Blood Moon, and don't really log on during it.

Used to hate it to, and the first few hours or day of it, the red burns my eyeballs something fierce.
However I absolutely love the 'fog' effect, makes the city so much deeper and full of gritty crime.
Wish we could have it every 'night' in game, not the red, though, maybe a purple haze with some Hendrix howls in the night.

It'd be kind of cool if Blood Moon, on days when the event was going on, only happened at night, (use server time - from like 18:00 to 4:00)...

yeah, I don't really like leveling during BM on my lowbies, however it does give me a reason on my 40s and farm. While the BM sky does get somewhat annoying looking up at it, its almost over.

This would be an awesome and realistic idea, really a moon all day and night, this is Detroit, not the North Pole, and since they only have to flip the BM switch to turn it on, I suppose it wouldn't be that hard for the devs to add this.

People all over the world play this game. If you used server time some people would never see that fog.
Those times would be from 11 PM to 9 AM on my country.

I play it for a little while to see if I get any useful drops, then I ignore it until it's done.

Reminds me of my reaction to CoH's Hallowe'en event. The constant night and overcast sky didn't scorch my retinas, of course. But, long before it was over, I really got to craving blue sky and sunshine. (I'd make a terrible vampire.)
