Hi,

Has anyone been able to build a good FF support/controller using the Manipulator form? Have the telepathy reviews been completed yet? I have a few characters in the standard healing type support roles and was interested in trying a character that was more of a controller who used Auras for team/self healing and maybe Sentinel Mastery for team healing using stuns and paralysis as well.

I think the Telepathy changes are still on the test server; I only peeked at them and wasn't too impressed.

I think I tried Manipulator on my telepath but did not care for it in comparison to other Forms. Crowd Control, in general, in Champions is lackluster at best.

I have a very fun Manipulator build based on Starcraft's Ghost Operatives. I don't have time to post the full build but basically you use INT as PSS (for the hold str spec) with CON and PRE as SS, Sentinel Mastery, Sentinel, Avenger trees. This is in Hybrid role but you can swap to Support too.

If you get to around 500+ INT with 250ish PRE you can get 12 second stuns and 60 second Sleep/Holds. Kinda of fun in solo, waves of mobs held while you leisurely pick em off one by one. Great in Alerts too. TK Maelstrom and sleep/hold sets off Sentinel Mastery for heals.

Wiith 500+ INT, your Manipulator buffs your damage by 10% per stack which is pretty fair.

For my last power I took Concentration just so in some team I could just be DPS (20% damage buff/stack).

But mainly you can choose the role of being Crowd Control extraordinaire and also healer with Sentinel Mastery without too much gimp in damage.
