Welcome to me little chance box corner.
In this little corner I shall try to explain the various chance boxes within the game(Both new and old)
Right out with the old and in with the new! Let me talk about the(**** YEA I'M USING THE CORRECT WAY TO WRITE IT!) [Takofanes' Cache of Treasures]!
This wonderful Slot machine drops from any (alive) mob in the game! It also requires the handle to open it!
The handle, also known as [Cosmic Key of Power], can only be obtained by player trading or purchasing directly from the atar..err...c-stor..erm I'm sorry, Zen Store!
Once you have the two you can test your luck on the slot machine!
Remember, one spin per handle that you use and the machine gets consumed too!
I will skip the lame prizes and go straight to the top tier ones!
The Bottom tier prize is [Lockbox Gear Kit] Inside of it is a random Questionite Gear and 5 high ranked random mods!
The Second tier prize is [Special Lockbox Gear Kit] and it Also comes with either Become Frank, Become Ghost, or Become Mummy! Inside of it is a random Legion Gear and 5 high ranked mods! Notice that the legion gear will scale to the player who opens it so make sure that your level 40 so you don't waste this pretty box of yours!
The Top tier prize is [Premium Lockbox Gear Kit] and it Also comes with Become DoomLord! Inside of this box are 3 random Legion Gears and 5 high ranked mods!(Again, notice that the legion gear will scale to the level of the player who opens this box)
So now that we got the new out of the way I can stop giving a damn!

Precision-- 19 Defense // 95 Critical Strike

Defense-- 39 Defense
Agility-- 19 Defense // 139 Avoidance
Elusiveness-- 19 Defense // 139 Dodge Chance
Greater Health-- 19 defense // 676 Maximum Health Points
Freedom-- 19 Defense // 46 Crowd Control Resistance
Utility
Utility-- 19 Defense // 139 Cooldown Reduction // 139 Cost Discount

Well, so much for only being a mild improvement over SCR gear. The utility primaries are even straight upgrades.
opened 33 boxes and got:
tons of t3 mods and the occasional t5
lots of xp boosters - sadly half of them seem to be bound while some aren't
lots of resource boosters
Just complete junk, I was getting hawkwing fighters and costume pieces in the hawkwing bags. The droprates in these suck.
Cox had a nice grab bag system called super packs and they were much much more rewarding.

Ah well...
Just really stupid, that I spent that much zen and didn't get any real rewards.
I hope my money adds to the future of the game because I promise you I won't be spending zen on future keys for future lockboxes if the drop ratio is really going to be that unfair.
The only thing I can hope for is to atleast sell enough of my salvage bought devices to purchase legion gear with globals but it appears not many are currently interested in buying the devices.
