Aura of Radiant Protection: a question

I'm considering a couple of concepts that I might be able to use the AoRP with. One is a healer that uses damage mitigation so that less focus has to be spent on healing. The other is a mystically powered "sentinel" that tanks. I'm concerned that the difference between the resistance values of AoRP and Defiant may cause a tank to be too squishy. Suggestions?

    Hybrid role
AORP gives 83% to user and 38% to allies
    Support role
AORP gives 53% to user and 67% to allies

    Stats Pre/Con/Int
    263/197/163

257 Con gives 17% Defiant stacks

I remember when AORP gave the user 46% if they were lucky now it's as good as Invuln once was (bout 60 - 70% in my case). Providing you can rack up your SS then it'll be perfectly adequate (tho not the best) as a defensive passive.

My primary healer not a tank build but I have tanked Warlord (I was 40) I ran in Hybrid and eventually went down coz I ran out of floor to stand on. Damage is not so good, but had I not had to deal with the fiery floor we woulda been victorious.

If you're not going full on healer then Concentration and racking up Int would be good to start with.

I also made an Invuln electric + Cascade ranged build that can heal and rez to an extent. It is not so hard to have a serious healing capability on any build.

With 351 in my primary stat, and 188 in my secondaries, my resistance value in Hybrid mode is 93%. That should be what you'd come out to with the same values regardless of which specific stats you choose.

Defiance will depend on your Constitution, but if you're hitting the 16/17% that you'd get from having your stats spread out equally, then AoRP will match or surpass it without the need to build up Defiance stacks. The only strengths Defiance would have at that point are its energy gain, and the fact that you don't need to rank it up.
Dasher@Tool-box, donning his armor to prance into battle and blitz the enemy! No joke!
Cupid@Tool-box, stunningly radiant stag ready to play matchmaker between villain and arrow!
Vixon@Tool-box, frighteningly eager to summon despair for his adversaries!
Jebin Zedalu@Tool-box, elementalist weaponmaster. ...One of these things is not like the others!

Thanks guys. I was figuring on the tank using Con as primary SS for the Armored and Deflection bonuses combined with Warden and Guardian to raise his defense and offense. The healer will be a respec of one that's currently using Seraphim and yes, PRE is the primary SS. My biggest concern was not gimping the tank's ability to take a hit too much.

I know this is crazy, but i was thinking of making a Might toon with AORP.
Just to be different. I'm not so sure though...i have made defiant tanks and inv tanks in the past, not sure what i would gain by using AORP instead.
Other than the cool look of the rune animation that is.
