PTS Build, UNTIL Carrier Defense

The latest build on PTS includes the UNTIL Carrier Defense mission. You thought that Dr. Destroyer's reach only extended to Millennium City? Poor, naive hero, Destroids are already swarming towards the skyborn UNTIL carrier.

This is very much a work in progress, with placeholder visual elements -- yes, you're protecting fish trucks at present. If you want to playtest this high-flying mission long before it arrives on the live server, hop on to PTS. We haven't implemented loaner vehicles yet, so to play this mission, you'll need a Hawkwing or a flying travel power.

    I'm not seeing a problem protecting fish trucks, to be perfectly honest.

    When there are no more trucks of fish to protect those who would complain will change their tunas. I apologize that last statement floundered.

    Anybody who's crabby enough to complain about that just ain't got no sole. Just keep clam, stay shark and alert, keep your stingraygun handy, and watch out for anything fishy, and we'll all get trout of this okay.

    I see no better porpoise than to protect fish trucks. Cod speed my fellow Champions.

    Hopefully they'll fine-tuna this and not flounder about, and we can skate on and do this when it hits live.

    Well, as long as the Goldfish subscribers aren't too shellfish about it, there shouldn't be too much of a haddock getting this thing tested.

    Awesome, more PVE content. It would be nice if we could finish the spec trees that are still broken, fix the immune turrets in SH. Provide questionite rewards for the PVP vendors / gear.

    You know... Finish the on-alert pass for the whole game?

    Oh, move on already.

    I mean, I am still bothered a small amount that the game isn't finished in the first place, you know. Level 50 with normal character progression, and at least two more zones, VB re-redefined to lvl range 41-44, that sort of thing.

    But I don't bring it up in every unrelated thread.

    um yea, I would love to test this mission out, so, what is the deal here?

    Defender doesn't have the mission. Neither do his two henchmen, or socrates or drifter or the bug guy or the guys on the jet platform, its not at the until building, or in the alert que, so...

    Where do I get this mission?

    well if that's the case, did they pull the mission back down again?

    The debugger doesn't seem to be offering me any missions. He's got levels, gear, flying bikes and tanks, but no missions at the moment.

    Did I miss it?

    This thread is a few weeks old now. They aren't testing carrier defense at the moment and are testing the Blood Moon event with plans to roll out several more patches with bug fixes this week.
    Champions Online player since September of 2008, forumite since February of 2008.
