I'm having an issue with Cape Glide, in that when I use the power on a character with a cape, the gliding cape shows AND the original cape flaps underneath it and clips the gliding cape.
I know it's not supposed to work this way since the original cape should disappear when you are gliding.
I tried logging in and out and that didn't fix it. Also tried changing costumes and costume slots and that didn't fix it either.
Ok I did some more testing and found out what's wrong!
If you only use Tights & Skins, and put on a cape, the Cape Glide works fine. The cape will be removed when you Cape Glide and then come back on when you land.
If you have a Chest Wear costume on top of your Tights & Skins, it will bug out. When you glide, the cape you are wearing stays there along with the gliding cape so it looks like you are gliding and have two capes flapping around.
I have attempted to Reproduce this issue, but i found i was unable to do so. So I believe the problem my be the combination of costume parts you are using. Can you send me list of the costume parts you are using, or a Costume save of the costume that this is occurring with?
I have a SG mate that is having the same problem. I've tried to reproduce the bug on both a male and female and have failed to do so, so I definitely think it's a very specific combination.
Just got it to bug out. I think it's ONLY for female characters. With any chestwear and cape it will cause it to bug. I've tried males with chestwear and this does not happen. Hope that helps.
EDIT: So it only bugs when you choose chest wear from the drop down menu. I chose full shirts from the drop down, and picked a chest layer from there and the bug does not occur. Again, female only.
The parts I were using were on the female model and using the Armor Patterned Chest Wear item. It did the clipping. When I removed it, and just used the tights, it worked ok.
Oh and like Benevon mentioned, I chose Chest Wear from the drop down menu when using the tailor and selected the Chest wear after I had already designed my tights.
I think the problem is that chest wear from the dropdown menu uses a different cape model to avoid clipping. But if you choose full shirts, it uses the less bulky model of cape, regardless of whether you choose an additional chest layer.
So that the underarm capes (Steelhawk Feathered arm accessory) can be used as the gliding mechanism without having the Black Cape appear when you don't have one equipped. Is that possible?

Thank you for the testing and narrowing down where the problem is occurring. Ill start my internal testing, and get this issue sent over to the devs.
