Prankenstein is an old favourite who has languished post alert haunting the power house and never coming out. The time has come for his rebirth, again. A short bio follows to set the scene.

Poor Dr Frank Norman Steinberg was a research scientist working for UNTIL, when ARGENT raided the lab in an attempt to steal the technology within. In the ensuing battle, the lab was blown up and the remains of Dr Steinberg where impregnated with experimental medical nanites. Despite being dead and missing several limbs, the nanites got to work and several weeks later he rose from the grave, albeit hideously disfigured, sworn on revenge. He equipped himself with various gadgets and devices and using his new friends, the nanites and various 'pets' he fights crime, with a dark humour as sharp as his chainsaw. No longer Dr. Frank N Steinberg, he goes by his new nom de guerre, Prankenstein.

I want him to be tough and difficult to kill, as his back story suggests. he has various technological robots that help him and the nanutes can raise the dead to aid him fight, as well as heal his associates. The chainsaw and gatling gun could be changed for other attacks, but the idea is that he has grisly weapons to suit his warped sense of humour. Think the Joker as an anti-hero, but with an army of pets.

Please advise on this build as I have no experience of pet builds post alert.

Well, you don't need / can't use both Compassion and Concentration, for one. You could alternate using them, I suppose, if you have a damage-heavy build and a heal-build... not sure if Compassion triggers on Medical Nanites, however.

With the change to Medical Nanites it should be much better than it was and with IDF should help your pet army.

Since YOUR only real attack is the chainsaw, I'd be tempted to get a Lunge of some kind so that you can LEAP into combat and start buzzsawing. :)

I don't know the Specializations by name, but there are some clearly pet-oriented ones that you probably included.

Good point re forms, in fact IDF is also another. After careful consideration I went with Compassion. I also have Gatling gun, so I don't need a lunge. Taking into account the forms I have changed him to this:

    Hi,

I have a question about your mastery choice. Does anyone know if the heals from the Medical Nanites will proc the bubble shields from Presence Mastery?

I know active heals on others will proc the bubbles, but what about passive heals? If not you might need an active heal power to proc the bubbles.

I asked in the Forumites channel, which is full of people far more knowledgeable than me and was informed that Medical Nanites does proc PRE mastery.
