The first build, Cheddar, is more straight forward damage with Kinetic Manipulation...and as you can see, it has its crucial abilities by level 14...this build wreaks havoc in Smashes, but be prepared to get aggro A LOT.

Always set your turrets up at max distance to keep them out of any AoEs being slung around.

Later on, you have a ton of defenses and Palliate to dump threat, but you might want to move them up in the level list to fit your needs.

The second build, Totinos, plays very similar in combat, with one exception, it can drop a Circle of Ebon Wrath and Sniper from Stealth mode.

Something you can do with this second build though, is find a spot for an on-next-hit ability, probably Sonic Device, since that will put some up front damage.

Anyways, been having a lot of fun with both builds, so thought I would share.

Sniper Rifle can be fired from outside aggro range in any event, and does not benefit (much) from Night Warrior.... if you're not going to use Ricochet Shot, the other batarang-cone attack or the melee Silent Strike, then there's little point to use Night Warrior, IMO.

The stealth IS nice, though --- I've thought of having that on some characters who then swap to a "real" slotted passive to actually engage in combat.

I'd also drop Accelerated Metabolism from Sniper Rifle --- you pretty much only get ONE shot with it since it can be interrupted so easily, and Accelerated Metabolism is only a CHANCE at some energy return. I'm not fond of AM in any case, but if I ~did~ have it, it would be on a power that I trigger a LOT...

True...mostly. However, the bonus from Night Warrior is that single target abilities get a 10% bonus damage from stealth...they also get the bonus charge time reduction, making Sniper Rifle get a lot more shots in.

AM on Sniper Rifle is more of a gamble than anything, I had 1 point, and in the off-chance you don't crit for Killer Instinct, there is a high chance you get some energy back anyways off the AM.

All in all, the stealth/sniper part of the build is for groups and the alpha strike on a boss or whatever. Assault Rifle and SMG are more than capable of finishing the job afterwards. But, as long as a tank can hold aggro in Alerts of any sort, you using a Sniper Rifle can guarantee success...and even if they can't, you have a few abilities for that too.
