I have to give Cryptic some credit. I'm having a lot of fun whenever I log in. I'm having more fun than when I played STO. This game has come along quite well. I don't know how the bitter vets feel about their experience, but for a new player, especially one that came over from COH, I think this game is well worth it. I've tried many games in the last 3 years hoping I find another one out there with the same spirit as COH, and this one has it (Although TSW, in its own way, came close. If only it weren't a holy-trinity-centric gear grinder. *sigh*). Maybe I'm having so much fun because I've been teaming up with a lot of current and ex-COH players, but whatever the reason I hope it stays this way, because this game fun now because of it.

I purchased the 3 month sub deal, so I should be here for a while. I'm looking forward to seeing you guys/gals in game. /waves

Impotent anger and the self hate that comes with knowing you can't walk away.

Pretty normal for an MMO, really.

That what I felt last year. Some of my CoX buddies said you play the Champions PnP have you tried the MMO.

Up until that point I didnt know there was a Champions MMO let alone made by the same guys that did CoX.

I few of us started playing CO as well. MMO's tend to be easier to get into if you know some people from day one.

excellent game, been here a while. many people who have been a bit bitter is because they love the game, but they are frustrated with a few bugs that affect how they play.

and if you go gold and have freeform, then you arent stuck in the "holy trinity"

all my toons are built thematically. granted some of them are more leaning to one aspect of the trinity or another, but thats because thematically they should be...

Peeps are bitter cause they think things could be better.Cant fault them for that ^__^

The ones that get me are the ones that post here after they have QQ'd, hell some of these ones have sigs of what mmo that is not CO they are playing at the mo...yeah I get it Maple Story is the "Bestest" :/

There are a few idiots but will have to say less than other mmo's ive played over the years.

In CO the nice outnumber the fools and the fools get ignored just like in CoX. Good bunch of people here my advice to anyone join SECRET try to get old Kenpo on and he'll set you up in the group after joining that crew with one of my toons I've had no problem teaming at all.

Eh, I'm an old vet. I'm honestly amazed at the effort we're seeing. They were here until like 8 last night fixing a server issue. I *have never seen this before*. Game's stepping up, and the player base is reaping the benefits.

I try to help everyone I can, whenever I can, so it's cool to see the devs putting a similar effort into the game. Truth be told, this game has *never* seen this many bug fixes in this short of a time.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Kitchen Sink one introduced more bugs which were fixed so fast people assumed for a year that they'd rolled the patch back instead of fixing them.

I remember. But I'm also taking into consideration that the kitchen sink 1 patch was fixed by people who'd set up the engine, for the most part. It was early on. Right now they're mostly working with other people's code, which makes the fact that they're pushing so many bug fixes so fast downright amazing.

I have been in CO since Beta. It has been a roller coaster ride but all in all I love this game. Its the only one I continually play.
There have been rough spots, namely time between new zones and lack of end game content, however everything else makes up for it. At least that's my opinion.

TBH, if you're an altoholic, then you've just found your true love. Welcome to the game! :D

    Is good gama <^_^>

My complaints pretty much all stem from there not being ENOUGH of it; and that some parts are too silly.* Other than that though there's a lot of wonderful stuff in CO. Tons of customization, freeform power selection for golds... is glorious <_<

*It's not that I mind *some* silliness; but I don't feel silly should be the baseline for a game that intends to maintain a customer base of loyal players.

Check out my Champions Online webcomic in progress!

    Annoying people since 2009!

So sad... yet so true hahaha, one of the top reasons I play this game and been addicted for almost 2 years. That... and the fact that you can be completely unique, I feel I AM my hero when I log into the game, I don't see 100 others walking around looking exactly like me.

@OP I am glad that you are enjoying your experience, if you need anything you can contact me at @superkhandar handle.

    THIS EXACTLY!!!

Err umm sorry. deep calming breaths.......ahhh, much better.

The squirrel nailed it, I enjoy the game so much id like more to do with it. I'm greedy, I cant help it.

And while I'm pleased to see the tone of the game, slowly improving. Changes to the tutorial, nighthawk additions, ect. It still can stand to loose a little bit more cheese. Id like the game to feel like a super hero game, not like a parody of one.

It's why I've stayed as well ^^ That and my SG of course, we're a small bunch though. I keep rolling new toons and my favorite part is getting to level them and watch them grow. Before Champs, I never had a max level toon in any game, now I have four with four others slowly climbing their way there in the 30's and high 20's. There is only one other game I have a max level toon, but never four. Sure I get bored and I'll leave for a bit but I come back and it feels as welcoming as ever <3 It's why I love Champs, its so free and unique and just overall loving imo. It's just champs, pure and simple :D
